Really exciting update - 5.5 months

WORTH IT$15,000
Saw my doc last week for my second routine quarterly check-up. He showed me a picture of where I started and the picture we took that day. Wow, the difference is MASSIVE. Honestly, I didn’t think my hairline was that bad until I saw the pic.
Nonetheless, I’ve uploaded picture of:
Hairline - really happy about this. I actually have a decent hairline now and I still have about 6-12 months of post HT growth to look forward to.
Top - it hasn’t fully filled in, but things look promising. Definitely see improvement in this dept. Not too concerned about it, my wife says in real life she can’t really tell that it’s thin because of the thicker hairline. Anyways it on the top of my head so I only have to worry about those annoying drone toys lol.
Back - the back is definitely not perfect. Nevertheless, it’s filling in and once the front and top are thicker I thicker, the back won’t affect my overall look that much.
I’m really happy with the progress, but I’m still keeping my fingers crossed.
Regime
Oral Minoxidil tablet 5mg/day
Alpecin caffeine shampoo x 2washes/day
Got one of those hair massagers to use in the shower, thought I’d give the scalp a short daily massage when I’m shampooing my hair.
Added a picture of the hair brush.
Alright that’s it for now. Do drop me a comment to let me know what you think. Feel free to ask questions. I hope I’ll be able to have more good news the next time I write.

Lol there’s little chance that I would have made a poor decision than a keyboard warrior who hasn’t shown anyone any results. Yup. Hey it’s my money and I can. :)

Not much to say at this point but I’ll try to share my experience.
I’ve uploaded a pre-op (top picture) hairline shot and current hairline (bottom) shot. I think there’s a significant improvement. Less light is passing through.
The top of my head hasn’t quite filled in yet. HOwever the back is just amazing. The baldie spot is gone! So at this point I look pretty decent from the front and back.

I appreciate your detailed review and progress updates. I’ve never heard of oral minox.

Almost 3 months since my FUE procedure on 11-12-18.
Had my first haircut today. Recipient area is still fairly sore. Did feel a fair amount of discomfort when the barber ran his shaver over it. But it wasn’t anything I couldn’t handle.
Thoughts: I know the massive growth hasn’t kicked in yet, but I’m inching toward the period (4mth and beyond). I think there has been some growth. My hairline looks pretty decent and the back looks okay. Just hope the top fills out soon cos the blank area is kinda pissing me off. Can’t tell from the pictures. My hair looks a lot denser under low light.
Well, still keeping fingers crossed.

Hello, I think your detailed review is fantastic! I'm an African American woman and I've been contemplating this procedure. Your assessment has really shed, no pun intended, a clear light on what is expected. Rooting for you, please keep me posted. Again, love the way you paint the picture.

Thank you for the kind words of encouragement. Yeah I just really wanted to focus on the experience. To give people who are really thinking about the procedure some insight. Honestly right now of course I’m wishing for a good result, but if it isn’t the best then I’ll be able to live with myself knowing I tried.

I hope you have a good journey too
