Fixed a Botched Transplant
Dr. Yazdan is a true professional. Before I met Dr Yazdan had a 2000 graft Artas in Southern California with virtually no results. A complete waste of money. I did get a thinner donor area. Perhaps 300 grafts took.
After 18 months, I starting looking to see if something could be done, but was not expecting anything. I contacted about 12 doctors in Southern California and Arizona. Several told me FUT was the only option. Some others gave ridiculous answers such as 3000 graft FUE, which never would have worked with my donor hair.
Dr. Yazdan gave me a truthful answer. He told me the most he could do would be about 1500 grafts, and he did not promise complete coverage for the crown. He was honest on what he could realistically do.
The surgery was night and day different than my Artas. He did not sedate me, as the prior doctor did. He and his assistant clearly treated my surgery an artistic endeavor. They were careful to work with my depleted donor hair and focused on the area that was important to me. We did PRP with the surgery. I had no shock loss. In my prior surgery I had major shock loss.
They also performed this without having to shave my entire head, just the sides, allowing me to get back to work sooner. I recovered very quickly. I did not get facial swelling as I had before.
I was very hesitant to have a second surgery after a failed one, but am very grateful that Dr Yazdan put in the time and effort.
I would recommend Dr Yazdan 100% if you are looking for an honest skilled doctor.
