Excellent Experience, Exactly As Expected
WORTH IT
I’m writing this review approximately three and a half months after my FUE procedure. Let me start out by saying that so far I am very pleased with Dr Wetzel and the Anderson Center for Hair. At this point in my treatment I am just starting to notice the new hair grafts growing in, which is exactly as expected. I will give an update to this review in another seven to twelve months when I have my “finished product”.
The entire process went very smoothly. I had done some extensive research about this procedure and the Anderson Center, so when I went in for my in-person consultation I had the procedure scheduled just a few days later. There was very little pain involved during the actual operation. The most uncomfortable part was when I was given the shots of anesthesia. My procedure took all day, but it felt like it only tlasted a few minutes due to the anesthesia I was given. There was a break in the middle for lunch, which was a delivered sandwich from a local sub shop. I went back the next day to for a quick checkup and to have the bandages removed. I was given very detailed instructions on how to care for the donor and recipient area for the next 10 days. The clinic was very helpful when I called back with a few questions.
My recovery process also went very smoothly. I found the most annoying part of the recovery process was having to sleep in an elevated position for 10 days following. There was very little discomfort in the donor or recipient area of my head. As far as how I looked right afterward, the only thing that looked ‘wierd’ to me was the main recipient area (crown of my head), which was shaved before the procedure. The donor area looked somewhat normal after four or five days.
Overall my experience with Dr Wetzel and the Anderson Center was excellent. With how easy this was I only wish I had this done years ago. I can’t wait to see how I look after all my new hair grows in.
