34 year old male, 2nd fue hair transplant, Maral clinic Istanbul

WORTH IT
Hi, forgot to mention this time I had 2150 grafts to add more density in my crown area. This time the total time to complete the procedure from start to finish was about 5/6 hours with no discomfort at all.

Looking good my friend , you got great coverage in the crown area and that should Give a great end result
Was there any reason why they didn't do the crown first time around?

Thanks for your update! It's great to see how you've progressed.

2 years after first fue hairtransplan

Time to head back to Istanbul and the Marla clinic for my second fue hair transplant to add some density to my crown area. Everything including the price is the same as when I went 2 years ago. Even the staff at the clinic were the same people so it was nice to meet them again and show off my results from my first hair transplant. The only thing different this time was that Dr Tugrul Maral had choose a different hotel for me to stay at for my 3 night 4 day trip to Istanbul. Instead of staying at the 3 star Lavent hotel which was a nice enough hotel I was now going to be staying at the 5 star dedeman hotel. Although I would have been happy staying at the 3 star Lavent hotel again the dedeman hotel is the better hotel to stay at and is worthy of its 5 star rating. It is more modern, the rooms are a little better, the food menu is better, location is better with more shops in the area, this hotel has a gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and massage facilities which the Lavent hotel has None off. This hotel upgrade was a pleasant surprise and a nice gesture from Dr Tugrul Maral. Thankyou

Excellent Clinic with Excellent Customer Service

Hi I'm Liam a 34 year old from Milton Keynes, England. I would like to share my fue hair transplant experience with you guys out. In January 2017 I decided to take action against my thinning hair and decided that I would like to have a hair transplant. I was thinning at the front and in my crown. I did my research online and decided that I would like to have my hair transplant with the Marla clinic who are located in lavent Istanbul Turkey. I decided to trust this clinic having read all the positive comments I had read about them through this forum. The price was 2100 euros and this includes 3 night hotel accommodation with breakfast and transfers from the airport to your hotel and the clinic. The only thing which is not included in the package is your flights. I booked my flights for January 2017 and e-mailed my flight itinerary to Dr Tugrul Maral and he replied saying that one of his drivers would meet me at the arrivals area in Istanbul and that he would be holding up a piece of paper with my name on it. True to his word upon arrival I met one of his drivers a Mr Saim Sivas who was very friendly and spoke good English. We then drove straight to my hotel which was about 30 minutes away through heavy traffic. I was staying at a 3 star hotel in Lavent called the Lavent hotel. This hotel was nice and the staff were all very friendly. The rooms were a good size with a double bed, tv, shower and tea and coffee making facilities. Their is a restaurant in the hotel but also alot off shops and restaurants in the area so if you wanted to eat out you can. I was told by my driver on the Tuesday when i met him that I would have my hair transplant on the Thursday and that he would meet me in reception of the hotel. On the wednesday I ventured out of the hotel and had a look around Istanbul. Thursday soon came around and it was the day of my hair transplant. I was nervous but excited at the same time. I got a call to me room and it was reception saying that my driver Mr divas was waiting in reception for me. We then drove to the clinic and I met Dr Tugrul Maral and his team. All of them was very friendly and welcoming and spoke good English. Once I had one on one with Dr Maral it was decided that I would have 3500 grafts transplanted from my donor area to the front and crown areas of my head. Then I was taken in to start on my hair transplant. First they shave your whole head then they start with the injections which their are about 30 in total to get your head numb. This was by far the most unpleasant part of the whole procedure and I would say for me the whole pain of the injections were no more than a 4/10. Once the injections had numbed the head they then start removing your grafts from your donor area. They removed 3500 grafts and from what I can remember it took them about 3 hours. After the gratfs were removed they ask what you would like for lunch and this is then ordered for you. After lunch the holes are made in your recipient area for the 3500 grafts ready to be implanted. After the holes were made in my recipient areas two people then got to work by implanting my grafts this whole procedure from start to finish to about 5/6 hours to which I felt no pain at all. They then wrap your head up with bandages gave me 3 different types of tablets to take and adviced me how to sleep that night. After that your driver will take you back to the hotel to get some rest. The next day I was picked up and taken back to the clinic where I had my bandages removed and my donor area cleaned. I was also given shampoo and body lotion to put on my donor area to help with the healing. Then it was time to say our goodbyes and my driver took me back to the airport for my flight home.
