Clinic Expert Istanbul Scam
My HT surgery was scheduled On 29th October 2020. A driver from clinic expert picked me up nd took me to the clinic, i saw bunch of young boys nd girls (in their twenties) dressed in either medical gowns or formal office attires (it was the first sign which made me bit worry cuz i was told by them that “we clinic expert is a big hospital!” Well duh, nice try.)
Anyways, i was asked to wait inside an office and a doctor will be with u shortly. After a while a girl came (she was wearing a party dress! Damn) she introduced herself to be my consultant nd pursued me to buy some weird looking serum [RS Bleep] in a fancy looking box nd some foams nd some shampoos. All this for US$600. I was told that one shampoo nd lotion is included in the package already so i gave her a flat NO. She seemed visibly upset but i kept on saying No thanks.
Anyways after that a gentleman came (the only gentle guy in entire setup) he was the doctor nd suggested me to have 4000 grafts, but that consultant girl interrupted him nd asked why shouldn’t we go for 5500 grafts? We can harvest some grafts from the beard (from the beard! excuse me?) luckily doctor said yeah we can take some donors from beard but i would not recommend back to back two sessions in 2 days. Meanwhile I was already on my toes to run away from them. The girl was clearly upset nd they began to argue in turkish blah bla blah. In the end i said “excuse me, i don’t want to have 2 sessions. So plz dont push me”
Later on she took me to a room where 2 young girls nd a boy and a stereo were waiting for me. I pointed at the stereo nd said jokingly thats a nice looking stereo nd they said “oh yeah the procedure is long nd boring so we play some music to keep things get going!! (Wow music in operation theatre, that was a new!)
They poked anesthesia back into my head nd when i woke up they were harvesting hair from back of my head with some “thing” which sound nd felt like a deWalt sand grinder, on top of, some turkish hiphop music in the background (madMax fury road kinda experience) the whole procedure was 8 hours long.
Next day they washed my head. i bought some serum for 200 bucks nd came back home in a hope to have my hair back.
But after a month i began to notice a big bald patch on right side of my head (donor area) i contacted clinic expert nd they said use some Minoxidil. Then I decided to see a dermatologist nd he revealed the bitter truth that the particular bald area was over harvested and traumatized due to excessive poking nd baldness may be permanent.
Now due to some incompetent weirdo technician didn’t do the procedure properly, HT becomes a nightmare nd i am regretting every single moment spent in turkey. Overall results also doesn’t looks so promising yet. I will post another review after 6 months nd then after a year nd keep you guys posted.
Anyways beware of this scam nd chose your service provider carefully.
