Hi there, it’s been 5 months since my transplant, and I am really happy with the results so far! According to the “hair transplant regrow timeline chart” that Doctor Cinik’s team provided, I am at 20 to 30% growth. Please see picture for progress.

Hello everyone, I am posting additional pictures so that you guys can see the implant flow. Doctor Cinik decided to implant the majority of graft at front, less in the middle and even lesser in the crown. Overall, all grafts should cover all bald areas.

Amazing Experience at Doctor Cinik’s Clinic
Two of my good friends had hair transplants procedure with Doctor Cinik. They were really pleased with the results, so they encouraged me to take a leap of faith and go for it.
Before contacting Doctor Cinik’s clinic, I did an extensive research on reviews and patients’ previous experiences. I found nothing but great reviews, and their results were awesome.
I’ve contacted Doctor Cinik’s office back in November of 2018. My personal assistant who coordinated all for me was Funda. She provided me with an outstanding customer support, and always willing to answer any questions (I had a lot of them) - I literally tortured her with questions for 5 months, since I decided to schedule my Hair Transplant in April 2019.
As far as the actual procedure, everything is well organized. I had clear instructions on where to find my driver at the airport. Doctor Cinik himself called my drivers’ cell phone to welcome me to Istanbul (really thoughtful of him considering that it was almost midnight), then he asked me to rest for the night and not to worry about anything.
Driver took me to a really nice hotel close to Taksim Square, where a room was already awaiting for me. The next morning after a tasty breakfast at the hotel, a driver punctually picked me up to transport me to the clinic for my procedure.
They have recently moved to a new location. The building was located 10 - 15 minutes away from the hotel in a really nice area in Istanbul. Inside is sparking clean, and all floors are organize by stages on the procedure.
At the clinic, Funda and Doctor Cinik’s team were waiting for me. I felt so welcome that my initial nerves went away. After a short wait, they took me to see Doctor Cinik. The nicest guy, he patiently explained the procedure while drawing lines in my head for the new implants. He explained the number of grafts I needed to get the best results (4,000 Grafts) - Luckily, I had good donor areas so he was confident that they could get that number of grafts.
Afterward, he refers to his team for the prep and the extractions. A quick haircut was in order, then the extraction begins... BTW - I paid for the painless anesthesia - Totally worth it!!!
After a few uncomfortable hours (nothing major), I received the good news from the team, they have extracted 4,800 grafts!!!
Now is time for opening the channels, I choose the exclusive package (highly recommended) so Doctor Cinik was responsible for opening the channels to implant the grafts. It is my understanding that this is most crucial part of a hair implant.
After Doctor Cinik finished, his team took over to implant one by one all grafts extracted. Doctor Cinik and his team speak very good English, so it was easy for me to engage in conversations to kill time. Every once in a while, I will find myself snoring loudly while the team kept working on implanting the grafts. My procedure lasted 9 hours, and it was worth every second.
During my procedure, Doctor Cinik’s team was really perceptive of my needs, and they gave me as many breaks as I needed. The actual procedure rooms are spotless, and I noticed all surgical instruments have been previously sterilized and bagged for the procedure. I also noticed that personnel at the clinic wear mask and gloves at all the time inside of the surgical rooms.
After the procedure, all medicines and after care are well explained. They also gave me a folder with printed instructions.
The first night was a bit long, but the next day after my first check-up I was out and walking around the city.
The following day, I got my first wash and after that I said good bye to all the people that took good care of me for 4 days. Driver took me to the airport, and I was on my way with a new look.
I do highly recommend Doctor Cinik’s Clinic for their affordable packages, safe procedure and standards, outstanding customer service and an amazing physician.
Meeting great people that treat you well is priceless. Thank you guys for the great experience!

how $$$$ total for trip and transplant?

The HT package I choose was 2600 EU (approx 2900 USD) - this included, hotel, breakfast and transportation. Then, I flew from ORD to Istanbul - 480 USD (one way). I traveled around Europe while recovering, then I flew back to USA from Amsterdam - 400 USD. While in Istanbul, I probably spent 100 bucks, and most of that was in souvenirs. I hope this helps.

Glad it all went well for you. Were you told where on the Norwood scale you were? It looks like your baldness was quite extensive. Did he say if you will need a second session or not? I look forward to following your progress :)

I was Norwood Class 6. No, I won’t need a second HT since they’ve implanted 4,800 grafts. Now, from the pics i posted it’s hard to tell, but Doctor Cinik’s plan was to do a scale implant to cover all the baldness. Meaning, they implanted the big chunk at front, less in the middle and ever lesser at the crown. The reason behind this method is to allow the hair to flow back and cover all baldness naturally. I will post a picture from my side where this is more a bit more noticeable.
