6 months post op Dr Cinik
From first coming into the clinic, it was beautiful and professional. The staff is exceptionally kind, and informative. After getting all my info and doing blood work on our first day. We were set up with a beautiful hotel for the night. The following day we met with Dr cinik. The meeting was brief but informative. He designed the hairline and how many grafts were going to be used. I had 4000 from my head and 200 from my beard designated to be used. After this you head straight into surgery. You are greeted by about 5 nurses and doctors. Who will be designated to you specifically. They began with freezing my beard to remove 200 grafts there. I will admit the freezing for both head and beard is the most painful. But in all honesty t isn't really that bad. Every person may have a different experience based on pain threshold
Between my head and beard, this lasted about 30 min. From there they began taking beard hairs and this is painless once freezing kicks in. After this they froze my head and I got a bathroom break. Freezing sets in quick and within minutes they will begin removing grafts from your head. It took about 2hrs to remove beard and head grafts. There is a bit of a break where they separate the grafts ans put them in your blood plasma for use during implantation. I did the FUE method. With saphire blade. The doctor assigned to you will then make incisions as to where all the hairs will be. Not painfull. And soon after, 2 nurses begin implanting all the hairs into the slits created. They took great care doing all the work. And always asked if I felt any pain, as they will give more freezing if need be. From start to end it took about 9hrs from harvesting hairs to implant. Beard hairs were used as filler in the top. There is also a 30 min lunch after about 4hrs in. Dr cinick himself poped in from time to time to check in on how things were coming along. When complete they wash you up, and give u all the info you need before giving you a complementary ride back to your hotel. The following day we returned for washing. Staff was informative and kind. Gave us our shampoos and materials we needed for when we left. We stayed in turkey for 2 weeks. And the clinic was amazing as the allowed us to come back every day for free washing and check up. Which was so comforting. Exceptional service. Great work. And wonderful staff. You will have swelling for about 2 weeks. Head aches and worst for us was lack of sleep due to swelling. But after 2 weeks you are good to go. Inching and redness can last for months. Overall experience was fantastic. I have included some photos over the past 6 months. Thank you to Dr cinik and his staff for a wonderful experience and procedure. I love my hair so far, and were only 50% grown in :)
