2 month update - FUE Turkey Dr. Maral
Hi everyone. It’s been two months and one week since I had my FUE Hair transplant. I noticed the shock loss of the hair around the 1.5 month mark where the new hair fell out and my hair felt quite thin again which is the part of the process where it feel as if nothing got done! However, in the last 3 weeks I’ve noticed the baby hairs starting to grow but with my long existing hair and the new hairs it still looks thin but that was expected. The one thing that is still interesting is that my hair is all different lengths all over: where they took the grafts, where my existing hair was, where they didn’t take the donors from and my new hair growing in and it looks a bit funny for now. I wear a hat typically when I go out since about 1 month in to now I wear my hat. Just because I rather not explain unless I see someone in my similar shoes of losing my hair. Here are some photos the hairline looks way better even with the small amount of new growth and the top looks not too bad considering it’s just passing the shock loss stage. Overall, very happy and looking forward to month 4 when you can see the new growth really come in !
Excited about new hair! 2 weeks post
As you can see in my first photos that I’ve posted they are a bit out of order. However, I took these shots in public while grocery shopping to show people that I’m more confident now with this red, dotted head than I was before with thin, receding hair. The most recent shot is this one here. I have no shame walking around with my soon to be new head of hair
4,400 Grafts FUE Canadian in Turkey 28 yrs old - Dr. Maral Istanbul: 100 Worth It!
I have been losing my hair on my widows peak hairline for 4-5 years and my crown has been thinning as well. I did this transplant for no other reason than for my personal mental health. I have had a depressive attitude and mindset like many guys who lose their hair in their early 20’s. I lost my confidence and usually wore some sort of hat or applied a ton of hair fibres before heading out. Now my hair is noticeably thin with these photos and how I styled it but to many it didn’t look like a major problem. However, when you start obsessing over it every day, it does become a major problem. I went to Dr. Maral’s clinic in Istanbul and I have nothing but great reviews so far. I’m 11 days post surgery and the progression at the beginning happens rapidly. Before, and during the surgery all my questions were addressed and the process itself lasted 7.5 hours with a 30 min lunch break. Here are some shots of before and after and 9 days after the surgery ... my crown looked a lot worse than this photo shows just because I had hair covering it
Provider Review
Very professional staff and technicians. Easy to deal with and listened to my requests for maximum number of grafts. I would recommend as a Canadian traveling to Turkey!
