Here is the 13 months update and probably will be my last unless I decide to go for FUE number 2.
This photo is what my hair looks like just woke up this morning. No gels, no hair fiber, no concealer.
I think it looks 100 times better than the before photo and with a bit of hair fiber, all is looking great. But the mess and potential embarrassment with using hair fiber in outings and rainy days may push me to do another procedure to increase the density.
Dr Cinik and his team did a great job in creating this nice looking and natural hairline and most if not all the grafts survived.
No regret with picking them as my surgeon of choice, with more and more horror stories about the other doctor, I would strongly recommend you giving him a chance. There is literally no negative reviews about him and now I can see why.
My only regrets is not doing it sooner. If your donor is good and you are feeling self conscience about losing your hair and considering it, go for it, it is probably the best thing I have done for myself.

11 Months. Growth continues.
At the 11 months mark now. Most of the hair filled in and this is probably the final result.
Overall, I am really happy that I had the HT. However, I am considering whether to get a second one at the 12 months mark or wait until the 16 months mark.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

10months update. The appearance is great now but the density probably still stay. May need another one.
It’s more than 10 months after my FUE, while the hairline is nicely filled in and greatly changed my appearance, the density is still somewhat lacking.
With a bit of hair fiber, it looks really good but I am considering another procedure to enhance the density so I don’t need hair fiber next year.
Someone has commented the area is too larger for 4000 hair grafts to cover them, so now I probably need another transplant. I will see if my donor can provide that.

Looking good man, another hair transplant will do the job and fill the area with more density ! Full expect growth can occur after 12-16 months !
I was also a bit unsatisfied with density after my first operation. I have gone for the second HT, the results are good now.
Did you get your second operation with Dr Cinik as well? How many grafts was the second FUE? I am contemplations whether to do at 12 months or later at 16 months.

Yes. Second operation is also with Dr. Cinik. I have had 3600 grafts .
Did you feel they did a good job on the harvesting part? I am afraid the density on the back of my head maybe compromised since they moved pretty quickly the first time.
I feel after the 4000 grafts, my back did feel thinner when I touch now. No regrets on getting it done but a bit worry what about another procedure may do to them.
I am very satisfied with my second operation. If you think your donor is getting weak, you may consider your beard and chest. The best would be letting your doctor to analyse situation and provide an advice.
I would be also very careful with my donor, not an easy decision .
Well, being an Asian man, I have no chest hair or a big beard. It will have to come from the donor hair area. I will take this into account.
How long did you wait before doing your second one? I am thinking about doing it right before Christmas and new year so I have lots of time off to let it heal. That will be about 13.5 months after the first transplant.
