I had the tear trough filler procedure done on Tuesday 9/12/17. Let me preface this by saying I have been researching different procedures for the lower eye for the last 2 years, but never could completely decide if I wanted to do anything about it. I was shown Dr. Nayak's website and made an appointment the same day! From the moment I emailed Dr. Nayak's office to ask questions about it I was beyond impressed with their level of customer service and that continued until the end of my procedure. First, since the office was not open I emailed the website on Sunday at 957am. I received a reply by 1020am the same morning! On a Sunday!! The consult coordinator (Carrie Taylor), was amazing at answering all of my questions, completely laying out my options, and letting me know I could do an initial consult via email w/ photos since I live in Iowa. I sent the photos and Dr. Nayak reviewed and I received a reply by the next day. I called to make an appointment and traveled the 4.5 hours to the office and it was worth every second of that trip. The fact that it was my face and near my eyes I was not going to settle for anyone that was not proven to be the best around with this procedure and was not going to go to another plastic surgeon just because they were closer. I walked into the beautiful facility and was greeted by the wonderful staff at the desk and was immediately brought back to talk about the procedure and have another quick consult to make sure in person, that everything would be right to get the procedure done. They are honest up front that if this procedure was not right for me they wouldn't just do it to sell the procedure, which I thought was wonderful. The nurse that performed the procedure was Jennifer Jones and I cannot begin to even touch on how awesome of a job she did! Dr. Nayak came in to talk to me also, which I thought was awesome and he was very friendly, knowledgeable, and they both told me that one syringe of the injectable looked to be sufficient instead of the 1.5 they initially thought, which I was happy about because my cost I predicted was half! So again, they did not just do what made the most money for them, they did what was best for their patient! Jennifer was so great at explaining every single step and making sure I knew exactly what she was doing and that I was comfortable the entire time. She was very careful and paid so much attention to detail. My best friend that came in with me is a Nurse Supervisor of an entire hospital here where we live and is around tons of nurses every single day and she said several times that she was extremely impressed with the level of patient care that Jennifer gave me and thought the entire practice was also amazing. So the review of the care alone was 5 stars, but the procedure if I could give it a 10 out of 5 I would. With the quick simple procedure, I could've cried I was so happy immediately after. I had immediate amazing results and it took years off my face. It was practically magic!!! When my friends saw my face, they finally understood immediately what would make me travel so far and pay to do this. It was virtually painless, I have zero bruising and such minimal swelling no one even notices. There are a couple other procedures I want to do and no question I will be returning and making the trip to Dr. Nayak's office!! Thank you a million times over Jennifer!!
