It's been 2 weeks since my surgery and today he took my drains out and was not a pleasant feeling but I'm so happy they are out! The staff at my ps has been amazing following up on me and always happy to see how they can make me more comfortable. Well right now the pain medicine is it. Last week I was hard time with my decision since Im very independent and this surgery reminds you on how much you have to depend on others. I'm much better this week thank God!
Thank to all you ladies for your post it really encourage me during last week hard times. I'm not much of a blogger but was hopping my few lines will encourage someone the same way they did to me. Plus my Dr really did an amazing job and deserves at lest that I share.

Your results are great!! My stomach looked just like yours. I'm waiting to get my before pics so I can share as well. Are you wearing a binder or a compression garment? This binder they sent me home in rolls up at the bottom when i sit down. How are you doing with swelling?
Thank you! Yes Im wearing a binder and it also rolls up a little at the bottom I just readjust every so often. This week I'm better with the swelling last week was pretty bad. Today when I woke up I feel so much better since they took the drains out yestarday. I was able to sleep in my side wich is heaven for me. :0) I would love to see some pictures. How long has it been since your surgery?
I just posted my before and after...I will be 2 weeks post tomorrow...I know how you feel about the drains, they were a pain in the butt. I would feel a burning sensation sometimes while moving around and while I was "milking" my drains (if you've ever done that)..I'm a stomach sleeper, so this has been hell for me..lol I think I may convert to sleeping on my side and back from now on, better for breathing anyway.
I just saw your pics and You look amazing!!!! Do you work? Are you ready to go back? I'm glad I work from home so Im not worry to much, however I have gone to the store a couple times before the drains where out and it was intemidating since I feel like people look at me weird because I walk slow and can't staind straight. But Ohhhh well I'm much better now, I'm just still working on standing straight part. How are you? Can you walk normal?
You look amazing! I was happy to see your review. I scheduled my surgery with him a couple of weeks ago. It is sent for June 8th and it couldn't come fast enough! Love all the staff there, especially Amber.
Thank you so much, I have been waiting for this after my first daughter was and so glad I finally was able to. Yes Amber is great, she had lots of patience with me and answer tons of questions. I really love how the Dr is involve on everything as well. You are going to love it, the 1st week is the hardes but after that every day gets much and much easier. And the best part you body will me just the way you wanted!!!
I have total trust in them. I have no doubt that I will love my results! I'm impatiently waiting for June!!!
I bet! I was the same at the begining of the year. He did recommended that I loss some 5 to 10lb for my results to be even better. So I did I was able to loss 11lb by surgery day. Now I have lost a total of 18lb with the surgery and all. And still have some swelling so I know I will be down to at least 20lb by the time I'm done.
By the way the Dr. will give you arnica pills, to begin taken 2 days before surgery and I think that help my healing processes, I also use Bio Oil to help my scar. I saw another lady recommend here in this website and so far it's working for me.
WOW!! You go girl! I too was told to lose weight for better results. I couldn't do it on my own though. I had tried and tried. Amber set me up with the hcg diet program. I have lost 26.8 pounds and still have 11 more days to go. I'm not where I want to be (12 pounds from goal) but I think having the surgery will help me get to where I want to be.....I'm getting the lipo on my flanks and was told upper stomach, but he may not have to do that now. Not sure until I go back in May to check up on everything.
Wow! 26 pounds is amazing! How long did it took you? What is the hcg diet about? That's pretty awesome so happy for you!
The hcg diet is a very strict very low calorie diet. I take an hcg injection in the morning and eat only 500 calories throughout the day. I am on the 42 day protocol. It is going very well for me. I have gone from 214 to 188. Hopefully another half a pound or so gone in the morning. I just couldn't shake the extra weight I had after my 5th child.
Great! Keep up the great work!!! ;0)
I go back to work next week but I was thinking of working from home for a week. I don't know, I only have a laptop at home and I'm use to working with duel monitors. I really don't like when I have to work from home. I didn't get any sleep last night. My stomach has swelled up more and it was so uncomfortable, plus I have restless leg syndrome so that's an added nuisance. I slept for about 3 hours after I took my son to school. I was walking upright by my second post op visit which was like 6 days post. I started driving 11 days post , I go on walks with my daughter, it started out slow but my walk yesterday was much better, I was almost keeping up with her and she walks fast anyway and its just been 2 weeks. I walked like 4 blocks to her school and then back. No only thing I can't stand is the swelling, it feels so tight, I really hard a hard time sleeping. But that's good you're walking around, try not to push yourself, you'll feel it when you're trying to sleep. Were your drains out? I forgot one day that I had clipped my drains up high and when I came out the house my oldest son's face was priceless, I immediately knew they were showing..lol That saved me alot of stares and upset stomachs..lol Oh yeah, have you thought about using any creams for your stretch marks, I just ordered this cream by Body Merry, it had really good reviews on Amazon, I'm waiting for it to be delivered so I can try it out. I've never put anything on them except shea butter but I use that on my whole body. I'll let you know how it works out. I was wondering if you ever tried any creams or heard about any that help reduce the appearance of them. I don't mind my stretch marks, but I actually have new ones since the surgery, the skin was pulled so tight, I noticed a couple of new ones above my belly button. Hope you're feeling alright today. Have a Blessed day!
I hear you someday is crazy for me has well. I'm having the hardes time with staying up straight. I'm not sure why, maybe is just in my head but it feels like I'm not able to do it. Anyways my scar is looking good I have been using Bio Oil and it looks a lot better since I started using it. The oil also helps with stretch marks, you might want to try it. You can get buy it anywhere and it's only like $12 dollars.
Thanks I saw another review about bio oil and heard it works well. Someone said they use it with a derma roller.. I just came from Walmart, I may pick it up my next visit..I'll see what Amazon has it for
I'm so glad I saw your post. I have a body lift & breast lift scheduled with Dr. Najera on June 22nd. Do you still love your results? Are you still swelling?
Your results look great. How's your scar? I'm currently looking for a surgeon. I know I'll have scar but want it to be a thin as possible.
