33 Years Old, Laser Facial Resurfacing

I recently had a treatment done at Texas Facial Aesthetics with Dr. Richardson. I went in looking to lighten the melasma from my last pregnancy and reduce some scarring in a few places on my face. The location was gorgeous, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Richardson was informative and helpful in making a decision about what treatment that would help me the most. I didn’t have to wait at all before they called me back. Dr. Richardson used an erbium laser on my face. The aesthetician had applied numbing cream before the treatment, so it was not painful, just a little uncomfortable in a few spots. Afterward I was red for about three days. When the redness went away I did have significant peeling of my skin, but that is to be expected. I was very happy with the treatment. My melasma looks better and my facial scarring is lighter. I purchased Obagi Nu-Derm Clear FX afterward to continue lightening my melasma, and I think it has really helped. I would recommend this practice to anyone. I will definitely go back for any further treatments to this location.
