Fresh Plastic Surgery - Facial Fat Transfer & Breast Augmentation (Fat Transfer) from Lipo

WORTH IT
I booked a trip to Korea to have facial fat transfer and breast fat transfer augmentation from my own liposuctioned fat. I chose Fresh Plastic Surgery in Gangnam, Sinsa-dong, Korea after much review. I spent months looking into different clinics in Seoul: Banobagi, Wonjin, ID, Grand, etc. and decided to go with Fresh PS. Dr. Hong specializes in fat transfers and does not perform any other major plastic surgery (like bone shaving) and I wanted something less invasive and natural. I asked many questions online and via Kakaotalk (popular Korean messenger app) and felt Fresh PS answered by questions immediately and thoroughly. I had lots of questions! It was also easy to communicate with them, since Evelyn is fluent in English. She was there to help answer my questions and also by my side for the entire operation and post op care. It was very comforting having here there, especially being in another country.
After contacting many clinics, it seems a standard procedure for them to ask for a deposit up front in order to book a consultation appointment. All of the clinics I was interested in sent me an estimate of what the cost would be and requested a 10% deposit via Paypal to hold the appointment. Keep in mind, there is a 10% VAT for foreigners. I go to Korea to visit a lot and this is standard. At Fresh PS – they give you a tax refund voucher (which many clinics don’t provide btw). This was an added bonus. Not 100% of the VAT was refunded when I went to Incheon airport to claim it back, but it was better than nothing!
Now let’s get down to the nitty gritty. I paid my down payment with Fresh PS and booked a flight out to Korea. A week before my arrival, Evelyn at Fresh PS provided me with pre-operation instructions. Basically, don’t take vitamins or certain medications prior to surgery. I stopped by birth control a week before as it could cause blood clots. I also stopped taking any vitamins. Do NOT take Motrin or ibuprofen as this causes bleeding! I also planned to have surgery the same day after my consultation, so I was not to eat 6 hours before surgery. When I got to the clinic, Evelyn was there to greet me and discuss my surgery plan. There were other ladies working there, but it seems only a few are trained by the doctor to give advice on what procedures you need to achieve your goals. Evelyn was one of those trained individuals – who also negotiates the prices with you. I had a sunken in face as a part of aging (almost 40), a flat forehead, weak chin, and breasts that started sagging a bit (small, but sagging). It was recommended I do fat transfer to both my face and my breasts. I also wanted other procedures done but Evelyn talked me out of it as it wasn’t necessary. I liked how they did not push me to do anything. I was able to negotiate a fair price for all the work I was getting done. I was very happy with the end $. Since I received quotes from other clinics, I was satisfied with the amount Fresh charged me. Getting surgery done in Korea is far cheaper than the US too so the trip was worth it and I even got a mini vacation out of it!
I scheduled by consultation first with surgery 2 hours later. My consultation took about the entire 2 hours – I had lots of questions. After I was satisfied, I said ok to the surgery. They have a separate locker room for you to place your items and change into a wraparound sleeveless gown. They moved me to a recovery room where I met the doctor for the first time. He looked me over and marked my face and body with the marker – it seems exactly what Evelyn advised during consultation was exactly what the doctor advised as well, so I was happy with that. He is always smiling – you can see in his Instagram and Youtube videos. He literally is the same in person – very gentle and smiling – genuinely. He asked me what I was looking to achieve, and I went over it one more time. I did not have enough fat in one area so the doctor had to take from my stomach and inner thighs. After he left the room I was escorted over to the operating room where I was drenched with povidone and asked to lay on the operating table that was covered in green linen. They strapped down my arms and then I was asleep. Everything happened so fast – I guess this is so you don’t have anxiety seeing the operating room and all the nurses there.
I woke up about 3 hours later and allowed to nap in the recovery room with IV drip. I was very dizzy and nauseous – but I didn’t throw up. Evelyn was there right before I fell asleep and was there when I woke up. It was quite comforting – like you’re not going through major surgery alone. My boyfriend was in the waiting area and took me back to the hotel. I fell asleep that night but was out and about the next day to go shopping! I was provided a goodie bag full of gauze, tape, bandaids, painkillers, post-op care instructions, and a nifty week supply of antibiotics. I like how each dosage was marked as breakfast, lunch, and dinner so I’d know if I missed one. I brought my own compression garments, but the lipo was done on my stomach and inner thighs so I had to purchase one from the clinic. I highly recommend you purchase what they recommend! It’s a bit pricey, but it has the right fit for the procedures you had done. You will also learn how important the compression garment is, since you will need to wear it for awhile after surgery! It will help mold your body too so getting the right garment is crucial!
It is now a week post op for me and I still have swelling on my face. The bruising on my lipo areas have gone away significantly but is still very tender to touch. The compression garment helps a lot with the pain and swelling, although it hurts when taking on and off to use the restroom or shower. Evelyn still keeps in touch with me via Kakaotalk – following up and making sure I am ok. I sent pictures of my wounds (tiny holes) to make sure everything is healing properly. So far, I am super happy with my results.

Hi
Could you please tell me if you still happy with the results
Thanks and all the best
I hope you don't mind, can you share how much the procedure cost. I was looking into that option. And how many days do you need to stay there for follow up. Thank you
Can you post pictures?
Do you know if stitches can be out in 1 week?
