I have always had a small pooch that I couldn't get rid off and after being that awkward overweight child and finally getting into shape during my late teen years made me realize I had some childhood baggage that wouldn't go away with just exercise. Coming from a conservative family it was a strange idea to consider but Liz and Dr Patel made the whole procedure sound simple, realistic and ultimately life changing. He made comfortable from day 1 and went through all his recommdations including a potential tummy tuck and weighing the pros and cons with each including what to expect and healing time. My procedure was about 3 hours in his office and the down time was about 1 week, day 1 and 2 being mostly swelling and some pressure but relatively 3 out of 10 on pain taken care of with the meds prescribed and relatively no pain after 3 days. And expecting full results in about 1 year (I'm at 6 months) seeing the healing, everyday looks better. I would do this again without hesitation and Dr Patel would certainly be the guy to go to if you're really not sure what you're looking for.
