Explant journey while breastfeeding
One month later and I'm still not implant free. So far I had to stop breastfeeding since my right breast had a galacto cyst that has not resolved. I have been having to get the area drained everyday for the last two weeks. My doctor installed a drain and took it out this week. I'm having to wear a pad under my breast to collect the milk that keeps draining. It has been a month since my procedure was done and am left with no resolution. In retrospect I wish I would have waited till after I got done breastfeeding????????.
Explant journey
So far I have been going to get my incision drained on a daily basis. I'm on my second round of antibiotics. Today I had a drain put in to allow the incision to heal. I've had a galacto cyst that formed a few days after the surgery. Although the situation is not ideal I'm very happy with Dr Heppe and his staff and their follow up care. Dr. Heppe has gone beyond the call of duty to ensure my incision heals properly.
