My scar is darker and more inflamed than before I started

we are sorry to hear this occurred to you. as we recall you came to us after already having pigmentation and scarring form another provider. you were unhappy with their care of you as well and they clearly botched your procedure. the process of healing a burn or a scar is difficult and often takes a number of treatments. as well you have darker skin tone making the treatment options without a guarantee.... in some instances there is risk of worsening pigmentation (that will improve over time with the right skincare and patience). we are always available to help improve the outcome and get you back on the right course to improvement, but treatment of scars has no guarantee and we cannot predict how one persons skin will heal as opposed to others. this is explained in our consent forms as well. there is no marketing involved, we ask all clients to write reviews of honesty and truth and we appreciate yours. we are always willing to help give improvement and guidance when someone is willing to work with us. we do not agree with your assessment of our staff however, they are kind, knowledgeable and caring. myself included never pressure anyone to do treatments they do not want to do unless we truly feel its needed for best outcomes or we just do not proceed. my entire life has been dedicated to getting the best outcomes for our clients, but with all cosmetic procedures there are risks/benefits. we are sorry you had a previous botched treatment and got scarring from it that we couldn't remedy for you. we hope you find a provider who can truly help your concerns. Yes agreed my previous procedure was botched thus why I came to you to treat the scar. I m not holding the treatment provided accountable for the scar. My review is based off of absolutely 0 improvement, in-fact worsening the scar . The scar itself I over 10 years old. Thank you for pointing out that I was botched, maybe a better professional recommendation from you as you are a doctor would have helped. Perhaps honesty maybe a scar revision surgery to completely cut it out would have been a better recommendation. Not selling treatment plans that clearly do not work and stringing patients along for thousands on creams.

I was also left with much worse scarring than before my laser procedure. I was also met with the non stop rude, pushy, sales tactics of the office team. If at any point you decline to purchase more skincare products, they begin to pass you off and avoid you.

Also notice in Dr Emer's reply that he mentions the consent forms. This was my exact experience as well. They will constantly remind you of the consent forms you signed and that you were made aware of the risk of damage. Yes. We are aware, but we are not made aware that in the case of said damage that we will be refused assistance and only given the opportunity to purchase high margin skincare. If you declined to purchase, you are told to find another provider exactly as he has stated in his response to this review.

My personal experience was that no one was concerned with best outcomes but only concerned with best margins.
