Here is some photos taken today, most of the red spots are PIE and scars, which I hope be improved with topical treatment (acnatac). However my skin doesn’t respond well to spf 50 (tried everything from LRP sensitive auto immune 50+, avene and now trying eucerin kids 50, it’s a nightmare!) and barely almost every skin care product (itchy, sensitive and acne flare)

Fraxel Ruin my Skin, Looking for Advise to Recover
Hello5263June 18, 2022
Hello!
After had 2 exhausting years, I’ve decided to go for a laser treatment recommended by a friend of mine. Had a mild acne-prone skin with fine lines and wrinkles. I’ve took appointment to a recommended specialist, she barely advise me on the post procedure, pro/cons and offer me the consultation. She performed Laser right after. I was told to wash my face one time per day and had moisturizer only by night. Sunscreen was dedicated to mountain or intense sun exposure. First 2 months of recovery were painful, my skin start to smell, be itchy and ultra sensitive. Then I’ve developt acne like never before, hyperpigmentation and unexplained scars after 3 months of recovery. I went to a dermatologist to help me deal with that, first treated with azelaic acid, now with acnatac. The laserist who performed the procedure said she never had such a case in 10 years of practicing Laser and offer me Genesis Laser procedure in July to help my skin recover for PIE and marks. I’m very depressed since the first procedure. I feel my skin is ruined and I will never go back to my initial skin. We are at 5 month post procedure and it keep to be a diseaster for my skin. If you have any advises I would really appreciate! Thank you!

Laser ruined my face too and the doctor told me the same: "it´s the 1st time that happen wrongly!". That is a lie! They know that the lasers are dangerous, and they only want to sell it like "100% sure". They constantly ruin the face and lifes of the people. I am depressed too, it is very hard to live this situation, I send you big hugs, and be strong.

In the hands of an experienced, professional, educated practicioner, laser is safe and effective and has helped many to obtain better-looking, healthier skin.
There are many different skin concerns and skin types, as well as lifestyles and so on, and all require an individualized approach, probably a different laser, and utmost care of the professional. One issue is that the manufacturers of lasers often try to convince their prospects that "they need only one laser" but that is, of course, not the case.
