Recommendations for Derms in NYC Who Acknowledge Fraxel Damage

I have had a terrible response to one session of Fraxel dual. Orange peel skin, textural issues that look like holes and pinpricks, new marks and scarring, volume loss, no oil production. I am getting married in the fall and am beside myself and am considering postponing as I have cried daily since this has occurred and feel miserable. I cannot find a derm or plastic surgeon in the greater NYC/NJ area who will acknowledge the damage from Fraxel or who will help me with the damage. They claim not to see anything, or prescribe retinoids and one even suggested Accutane (yet I don’t even have acne and my skin is dry as anything.) I am looking a recc for an honest derm who will attempt to help me at this point. Please, I am begging someone to help me. This is ruining my life and I cannot find a doctor to help me. I feel like I am trapped in a nightmare.

Honest derms in NYC/NJ who acknowledge fraxel damage?

Have tried to see derms in this area about damage from Fraxel Dual. None acknowledge the damage could be caused by this laser when my skin has literally gone to glowing and plump to dry, scarred, marked, spotted and sagging. Any suggestions on anyone who can help? I am absolutely beside myself about this.

My Skin Was Ruined by Fraxel Dual

Received Fraxel Dual and immediately noticed orange peel texture and bumps. Went to board certified derm who specializes in Fraxel laser (yes, the name brand Fraxel by Solta) and has over 20+ experience. Went to Ivy League schools and has impressive work history, working at top hospitals in NYC. I’m about 5.5 weeks out and my texture is horrible, skin is dry, acne scars are still there. I used to have smooth glowy skin with the exception of a few light acne scars. My entire face is now bumped, dry, and I have new marks and am beginning to realize the “large pores” are actually pinpricks and scarring by the laser. Have been into my derm 4 times who tells me the changes I’m seeing on my skin do not come from Fraxel Dual as that is impossible. I have volume loss and a bumped rough texture. Getting married this fall and seriously considering postponing it (although I’ve read it worsens with time.) I’m so depressed and can’t believe this is my new reality, and am terrified of each day and finding more issues.

It’s worth noting I’m desperate to fix this, I will fly to any doctor who feels they can fix this but the timing is an issue. With my wedding 4 months out I think I need to wait for fraxel dual to “settle” and then anything else would require additional downtime. I’ve ruined my entire life and went from being excited to begin a new stage of my life, to covering our mirrors and crying multiple times a day.
