Finding it hard to get use to this new layout. But should update! For three weeks I have been using Biocorneum. Twice a day. Today I ran out * sad face *
IT DID An AMAZING JOB ON MY scars. I truly noticed a difference. Because I have two long incisions it didn't last as long as it probably would have if I had, only the lower incision.

I am happy with my progress and my results my stomach was huge before. Since my surgery six weeks ago I lost 12 lbs. And i feel so much better about myself THANKS DR.AMBAY! !
and thanks Melanie for returning all my emails and calls xo.

I feel SO good today. Of course am still sore but overall I feel good. I took a hot shower awww so relaxing!

I went to the Dr got one drain out! The other one will come out Monday. I don't mind because having it isn't an issue! I am now only wearing the CG and the contour thingys..on my left and right side. I see a huge difference in my stomach. And i can see definition. When I heal more and have strength that will last long enough to actually take pics I will i get tired so fast. I did my best to post a pic lol it wasn't easy. Miss u ladies. Can't wait to be able to reply to ur comments and post more pics. Am so sleepy right now. 7pm..lol *hugs*

Your incision looks fantastic!  Keep taking it easy so you don't put any stress on that thing :).  Continued happy healing to you :).  I think I was super tired after my Mommy Makeover until after I stopped taking the Vicodin, which was like 8 or 9 days Post-op :D.  Just rest now, we'll wait!

Over this binder and CG
Over being confined to the house
Over my the skinny heffers..that come visit me and say u look so much better (wat I looked like before lol)
Over hubby and kids letting the house work slip. OVER IT OVER IT OVER!

I tried to take all this stuff off yesterday and damn near passed out and I was taking it off while sitting and going slow because hubby kept say. He feeling lite headed, he thought he had to vomitt. REALLY?! If u don't man up.
Five mins later I got so lite headed and nausea. I couldn't believe it. Those garments was tight for too long. And now am scare to try again. I can keep these drains in longer they not uncomfortable. But am over feeling like a burrito. This is my OVER IT DAY! ON ANOTHER NOTE! ! MY STOMACH FLAT! I have to take pics. Because it didn't go to we'll yesterday. I am still depending on my hubby to do everything. Because I get tired soooooooooooooo fast. Xo *hugs*

Okay, MIssy here is some tough love. Leave that binder on and just leave it alone. It's keeping the swelling down. You are only one week post, it's suppose to be tight. Don't remove it until after your first post op visit. Leave your husband alone. If you doesn't want to look and watch you take your binder off, dont make him. I'm 10 weeks and my husband still won't look. You did this for you, not him or anybody else. He doesn't have to experience what you are experiencing. He just has to support you. Let the house go to hell. Don't try to lift a thing or clean it up. As long as your area is clean and sanitized, oh well. They will eventually get sick of looking at it. If not, call in the house keepers. You get tired easily because YOU JUST HAD MAJOR SURGERY. Sit your butt down and rest. You don't want to risk messing things up because you won't let your body heal properly. Don't just sit in the bed. Take a walk around the house (no stairs), Go sit outside and get some sun. Sitting outside for 10 min a day will make you feel a lot better. Limit your visitors. I didn't allow anyone to visit just for my privacy plus I didn't want to hear any comments. My mom is in town now and it just confirms my decision to do this without her presence here. I didn't want the added stress. You may be going through depression which is normal. Just recognize what it is and keep Moving. I think your husband and everyone else means well. You just isn't comfortable with not being yourself right now. You have a long road to recovery, just take it one day at a time. I promise each day will get better. You are a strong woman, hang in there. But feel free to vent to us anytime. Michigan Hugs and Swiss Kisses.

OMG. I felt like you. My "crew" was trying to be helpful but they got tired too. About day 7-9 I felt ALONE and depressed. And in truth I had zero reason. There are several lows in this process and just when you think you are over it. You get them again. It is strange because you think you can overcome your emotions with logic. But then you start getting cabin fever and your CG starts feeling like a straight jacket and you can't move and forget about sleep. You sleep but not really that well. And just wait.... When you start feeling a little better and decide to cook something of finally vacuum because no one else would bother,,,bam! Your swelling goes up! And you are grounded again. BUT DON'T give up, fight those Demons. Sexy4life is 100% right. Let yourself get sad, cry even..but not too much then Put your big girl panties on and laugh it off. No matter what, it was/is worth it and you are a gorgeous woman!
