I have had i lip lift done last week and the doc striped of 3/4 mm and the inscisions are in my nose and on the side.... My nose was so swollen I didn't even see my lip lift I can only see my messed up nose its less swollen now but my nostrils are so big I fell like I signed up for a nose job ! Please tell me it's normal !!!! Plus my lips are exactly the same I wish I never did it he didn't take enough skin off I'm guessing :(((( now i bet I'm going to have to get my nose fixed... It was perfect before :(((

Please relax. This is too early. Your nose looks normal for someone who has had this procedure done so recently.

HI, I just had mine done last Monday. Im on a roller coaster with this, one day its ok, next not so good. My nose has changed too, it is like spread across my face, I look like frankenstein. I have read almost all 229 reviews and everyone is having the same issue, but it seems to resolve in time. I think my lift is too much in the middle, but I saw the doc today and he said it would relax. He said I look good, but I dont think soo. Hang in there, your collagen is remodeling and at a week out your still swollen even though you dont think you are. Keep me updated, Ill keep you updated on my healing too!

Thanks so much this helps a lot you have no idea... I have a bumps everywhere in my nose I'm guessing this is what makes it swollen but still in the morning it's the worst... I'm going to get fillers in the end because I'm so un satisfied with the end result :(

Today I feel better about it. My incision has deflated a little which made a little difference in my overall appearance. My lips look nice, but my corners droop more than I would like but I kind of had that problem before. I can get fillers in there to plump them out and even out my smile. It is a waiting game. If you look overall with your nose and your scar and your swollen lips you do look like a monster, but cover your nose with toilet paper and then look at your lips! I did that and it made me feel better! The mirror is your enemy..........so stop looking in it for a while! I think I look goofy, my co-workers have no clue. So it is self image. The more you focus on it the more you will find things not to like. I dont think your nose or your lips look bad at all. It will change!

Thanks guys I saw the doc too yesterday he said that I need to wait I feel like a monster with my nose... I'm going to wait and see... But I don't feel optimistic on this one :( I'm not a very lucky person....

Relax. You shouldn't rate this procedure by this doctor as "not worth it' until at least 7 months out. It took my nose about 6 months to finally become normal again. You are young, so it should be faster. This can be a very long healing time so don't jump to conclusions. PS Did he cut 3 or 4mm or 3/4mm? How many mm was your original upper lip and what is it now?

I guess 3 or 4. I dont think removing 3/4th of mm is a procedure.

So I'm putting some pics to show you guys what I look like now 10days out
I still regret it I don't want to go back and get more taken off it doesn't even hurt I just can't see myself going through the stress of seeing my nose like this ever again !!!! I'm just going to have to get fillers for the rest of my life unfortunately I really do hope my nose goes back to at least 90% of what it was I have bumps everywhere in my nose do you guys have the same thing ???? Plus I forgot to mention that I got herpies all under my stitches right after my operation so I really sum up the the definition of unlucky :(

Please don't jump to any conclusions at 10 days post. Facial surgery is traumatic. It takes months to heal. Expect the nose to be swollen for up to 7 months. The bumps will also go away. It really is unreasonable to expect to be back to normal in a week. Please be patient.
