Hi everyone!
I have never posted here before, but thought I should share my experience to hopefully help anyone considering what I did. :))
I am a mom to 2 children and due to pregnancy and nursing them a year each I had deflated breasts. I decided I wanted a lift and the doctor I used thought I should also have an implant to achieve fullness. I agreed. I was someone who exercised a lot and didn't think about the impact the implants would have on my life.
I lived with DDD boobs for 10 years and didn't exercise the way I used to at all. I gained 20 pounds over those 10 years. I got saggy boobs again and hated the way my boobs looked.
In March I went for a consultation and booked surgery that same afternoon. The doctor I chose was one referred to me by my GP. She was amazing. I will write more about that in a minute.
I did research online, read a lot on this forum and was scared to go through with the surgery but I am SO GLAD that I did it! I am Day 4 post surgery, only taking extra strength Tylenol and want to see a movie this afternoon, at the theatre, not my living room :)
I had my first shower yesterday morning and took the dressings off. I had a lift as well as an explant. The scars are very vivid but I know they will heal nicely because they did before. Not even thinking about that right now because I am SO happy about my little boobies! I have always been a D my whole life and I told the doctor that I wanted to be a large B or small C. It looks like I am! They are natural looking and I am so excited to see what they will look like after all the healing. I look like I have lost at least 10 pounds too.
If you are considering this surgery, do not be afraid and follow your gut! It feels so good to be all natural!

12 Days Post Op
kp70June 5, 2017
I continue to be happy with the decision of getting the implants removed and a lift. I am no longer taking anything for pain at all and am back to work (since day 7 post op) and other than no exercise, living pretty much the same as before.
I go in 2 days for a 14 day post op check up and hope to get the tape and stitches off. I hope to be cleared for at least 2 mile walks.
I also have lost 6 pounds since the operation, and I still have swelling in my breasts. I truly believe that my body was holding onto weight with the implants. When I had the surgery to put the implants in I only gained 3 pounds, that is why I truly believe my body did not react well to the implants and I am finally losing weight again!
I will update after the appointment this week. Again, if you are considering this procedure, I would highly recommend and encourage you to take the leap and get your natural self back!

I know your post is from a few months ago but I totally relate. I feel my implants made me gain weight as well. I'm hoping I start to lose it now that I can be active again. Hard to workout with G cups.
