These are the pictures from immediately after and then the next day. Today I don’t have any pain, just a bit tender. I’m avoiding the sun and just using the cream the technician gave me. I don’t see any swelling anymore and although I can’t yet wear makeup I don’t feel Terrible with friends seeing me like this

Let us know how you get on - thanks for sharing! (I'm considering this treatment for acne scarring too.)
ORIGINAL POST

Acne Scar Journey

I have read all of the reviews on this treatment on here prior to my appointment. I thought I'd document my own experience for those like me who like honest reviews.

I got my first Fractora treatment today. They did spot treatments on my cheeks and chin where most of my scarring is. I don't have intense scarring but enough that in certain lights it really bothered me.

The technician was lovely and answered all of my questions (which I had many). She put numbing cream on my face for 30 minutes.

I was not prepared for the intensity of the treatment. The worst part was the crunching when the head is pressed into your skin and the overall pressure. The zap from the RF I didn't feel at all. The pressure and the crunching were... intense. On a scale from 1-10 I'd say it was a 6-7. She stamped her way across the areas I needed done. It didn't take very long but it hurt. I won't sugar coat that.

Immediately after my skin was red and angry looking. It felt very hot but I wasn't in pain.

I will try and upload photos, although I'm having trouble.

Hoping you are loving your new skin. It takes about 3 to 6 months to see the final results. Good luck! Looks good so far!
I've scheduled to have this done next month for acne scarring. How are you feeling about it? Worth it?
