1 year and 2 months later

Things have progressed beautifully . My breast scars are smooth and nearly invisible now. I have lost zero sensation , which is always a concern going in but I feel back to normal . My belly scars are also smoothing out and lightening and my belly button is almost feeling 100 to normal as well. The swelling has been long gone since around 8onths. I am sooooo happy with the results and Dr. Ethridge and his staff are fantastic

I have not checked in lately. I have been busy getting back to feeling normal !! My belly almost feels normal. Just a tiny bit of numbness around my belly button. My breasts look and move normally. But now they don't sag and I finally have been able to determine I am a full c. I was a saggy d cup before. i am sooooo glad i reduced. My clothes look so much better. I have little to no swelling now. Maybe some nights I have a little. I just put my binder on each night after work and sleep in it. It really helps. My doc says it keeps the fluids dispersed. I no longer need my body pillow to sleep and I comfortably sleep on my tummy at night. My clothes are very loose ,especially my pants now. I continue to work out daily. A variety of walking, running, resistance training, and cardio. My main food focus is low sodium and I drink 12 glasses of water daily. When I don't hydrate and I intake sodium I really notice bloating and immediate weight gain and it feels crappy. It is easy to stay on track as my results are now visible. I see my doc every 6 weeks and he says my recovery has been so quick because I have been active and adhered to my proper diet. Best of luck to you all just starting on your journey. You will get there soon.

Feeling good. I have been walking daily. Standing up straight until night time when I am swollen and I tend to need to climb in my recliner with my feet up and use an ice pack on my breasts. Last night my incision line on my breasts were very swollen and I was a bit worried but this morning I am back to normal. I tried laying on my sides last night and it was better than being propped up with pillows. I steel keep waking up every couple hours. Have not slept through the night since surgery.

My clothes are fitting and not bothering my incision areas. Doctor said I could get in the pool next week. I have no intention of swimming laps just sitting on the steps to cool off! My husband took me on a short motorcycle ride with doctors approval to keep it mellow and with my waist binder and large ace bandage over my bra it was shockingly pain free.
