Well, it's been over 2 months now and I am so glad I did this and have it behind me! YAY!!! I am updating a few pics. I am very pleased with the way the scars look. I think they will almost be undetectible by next summer. :)

Yesterday was 4wks PO. Don't go back to the PS until next Friday, 9/7. Looks like a couple of the stitches are poking out. Other than that, everything seems to be progressing well! ;)

You look amazing. I can't believe how non-existent the incision lines are. They look like they have healed up very well. I can't wait to have my steri strips removed. I haven't even seen my incisions. I go back to doc on 9-7 too. So happy for you. Looking good. Love that shirt.

I loved your comment about the swim top - that is the holy grail for me. I am so looking forward to wearing a bathing suit without looking like a washed up [RS bleep] star.

Thanks Sydney! I was in the OR for 5 HOURS!!! I think my PS was very maticulous which has helped with a wonderful healing result. :)

3wks post op update - I am getting more used to my...
3wks post op update - I am getting more used to my new tatas everyday. :) Still have occassional pulling and pains but nothing that requires any kind of meds. I updated a few photos. I still have some dried blood around the nipples but afraid to scrub too much so I am just leaving everything alone. lol I think my size is going to be 34D/36C which I think is going to be perfect. I had a swim top on today for the first time and it was amazing to see how much better I look with "normal" size tatas! Love it!!! Hubs is very happy. ;) I want a tummy tuck so bad now though!!! UGH!!! :( Hopefully sometime in the next year.

Hi! I just checked in to see your updated pics! You look terrific! Are you finding that you can really feel the weight thats GONE? I have really been noticing that so much lately. I noticed that your tape was all gone by day 18, I am still loaded with tape everywhere & the Dr told me the tape "may" be off by my next visit on 9/21/12. Just curious if thats been everyone's experience. I cannot WAIT for the tape to be gone but I know it helps prevent scarring. I am starting to feel like theres a light at the end of this long tunnel though!

Thank you! Yes, I just realized the other day that I no longer have all the pain in my upper back. It is AMAZING! I had to get rid of the tape, it was driving me insane! My skin is still irritated where the strips were on the bottom. My PS was ok with them coming off after 1 week. The scabbing is finally coming off. YAY! I will post a new pic next week at the 1 month post-op mark. I started using some scar gel at 3wks post-op. I am so happy with them. :) They feel more "normal" everyday! There is definitely light at the end of the tunnel!!!

Looking wonderful! I am still taping. I still have a small "oozing" area on my right breast on the bottom incision where it "Ts." Everything else looks great except this spot. I have not been taping the spot in the hopes it heals. I also use antibacterial ointment and have to cover it with gauze to keep it from staining. My PS saw it about 7 days ago and said not to worry---Right, lol! I see her again next week and I will hear what she thinks at this point. I still feel tight and have trouble sleeping comfortably. I still measure a 34DD and 36D which was shocking to me! I thought they looked tiny! So funny how you lose perspective on breast size! But I am still swollen and I hope to eventually become a C. Thank you for your post and pics. They are so helpful to me!

So true about losing perspective on breast size!!! LOL! I am having trouble finding a bra that fits right. The genie bra is most comfortable to me. I have so much itching around the bottom band but not really on the incisions themselves. It's so weird! I also still have some numbness on the bottom of my breasts along the incision lines. The incisions look good though. I guess the nerves still aren't completely healed. Sorry to hear you're having trouble sleeping. That can really wear you down. Let me know what your PS says next week. Happy healing!!! :)

Went today because I have an infection boo hoo - got more antibiotic pills & ointment. Apparently, if you have a huge reduction like I did, you are more likely to get infection because of extra skin & pulling & all that lovely sore of stuff. I didnt want to overreact when I started feeling pain & warmth in one spot but really should have gone to the Dr sooner. I have about a 6 to 8 inch section that is red & angry & sore. SO the whole point of my story is if anyone feels like something "isnt quite right", don't be shy to call the Dr! On the bra size issue, I have been LEAVING MY HOUSE in a SPORTS bra! Before my BR that would qualify as [RS bleep]!!!!!
