1 Week Post Op Phase 3
This surgery has been a little harder on me than expected. It's probably because I had such a busy week following surgery. Dr. Steele created nipples, harvested fat from my abdomen and muffin tops, and grafted into the areas of my breasts that had hollowed out. I am pleased with the results and continue to feel blessed with the artistic abilities of Dr. Steele. The bruising is beginning to come out a bit and I have been quite sore. I see him on Thursday for a recheck and to remove the bandages. The incision up high on my chest is where my port was removed.
Phase 3
Yesterday I had fat grafting and nipple reconstruction. I have not taken pics yet, or seen my results, but I am sure they look great! I did remember to take pics before I went to the hospital. Here are some photos of 2 1/2 months out from tissue expanders to implant exchange. My implants are Natrelle Ultra High Profile tear drop shape 495 CC. I wear a 32 DDD bra, but the girls don't appear that big. Reconstruction is so different than an augmentation. I think they are looking great! Still absolutely love Dr. Mathew Steele and his wonderful staff!
One week post TE switch to permanent implants
I am recovering well from surgery. Opted to have ovaries removed two days after implant switch. The harvesting site for the fat grafting has been the most painful, but still only took any pain meds for two days. My husband and I are pleased with how natural my new foobs actually look! Dr. Steele and his staff continue to take great care of me. Drain removal and hopefully bandage removal tomorrow.
