Things are improving every day. I'm feeling better which makes it hard to stay sleeping on my back tho! I'm a side sleeper and I'm beginning to think sleeping on my back is more torture than this whole process lol!!
Any ideas on how long this engorged feeling lasts ladies? I'm ready to feel like they are part if me instead of 2 melons placed on my chest :-).

Post-op appt
I went to my 1st postop appt today and the doc said everything looks wonderful! It was a relief for sure. He said to start doing massage twice a day (morning and night). The bandages were removed, which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I can start using mederma in about 3 weeks for the scars. Minimal swelling as of today :-) and it's looking like 32DD/34D depending on bra. It sounds really huge but it's surprisingly perfect! I'm very happy. I go back in mid April baring any complications. Today is a good day :-)

Both! Still can't believe I'm going thru with it, sounds crazy to say out loud. I'm hoping the valium they give me day of surgery is good stuff.

Lol!! I'm sure it will be :-) I find myself constantly either looking at them or feeling them. It's surreal and a bit odd. Going 39 yrs w out boobs to one day I have pretty good sized boobs is a strange feeling lol. I also had everyone in my office come over to inspect me the day I came back to work which was also weird... I'm not big on being the center of attention. Luckily I think the newness is wearing off, at least for my co workers whew!! What size implant are you going w?

Haha, I'm sure the girls in my family will ask to see and feel them! I'm going with somewhere around 350cc, PS has my wish pics and will adjust accordingly on the table. :)

I expected to hurt so much more than I do. The first day or 2 I was pretty sore and kept up with my pain meds but it tapered off pretty quick. I don't have hardly any bruising and the swelling is going down daily. I'm still hard, tight and pretty swollen but it's getting better every day. I don't have any small children at home, my baby is 12 so Ive pretty much hung out on the couch, watched movies, iced the new girls, taken my vitamins/meds and slept. I went to the store w my boyfriend the 2nd day just to get out and walk around a bit and it wasn't to bad. My doc wants me in an underwire bra 3 days after surgery so that where we went, bra shopping. The idea of being in an underwire w fresh incisions doesn't appeal to me but its docs orders. Surprisingly it's also not as bad as I thought it'd be. Don't get me wrong, it's not great by any means but it's do able. I did need help showering the day after but my trusty bf was all too happy to help. I've been able to shower on my own since then. I'm going back to work tomorrow and have my 1st postop doc appointment on Thursday so hopefully he has only good things to say :-)
