I am 5'9" 135lbs 27yr old mom of two. I decided to get 400cc textured mentor silicone implants done transaxillary. I am currently just over 2 weeks post op. I am beyond happy with my results other than my incisions. My dr. Said it doesn't happen often but my incisions have split and they are disgusting! He said they should heal on their own but I have to be extra careful of my arm movement. Easier said than done! I am going to give them a few more days but if they don't look any better I may need an antibiotic cream to put on them? It almost seems like they need another stitch or glue or something to close them up? Other than that I am very please with my outcome.
Incision update
I went back to have my incisions checked out today. My Dr. said everything looks completely fine and will heal in time. I have a small portion of the incision that opened slightly so he gave me a script for an antibiotic cream to help the healing process. He assured me that everything is normal and I should still get a great result as far as the scar goes. He said my breasts are perfect and we could not have gotten a better result. I completely agree, I am SO happy with them! Again, everyone was so helpful and I was seen right away to make sure that my incision concerns were addressed.
