44 Year Old Cancer Survivor - Bilateral Mastectomy with Implant Reconstruction

In May I was diagnosed with DCIS in my right Breast. I elected to have a double mastectomy and wanted to begin the reconstruction process immediately. My Breast surgeon provided me with the name of an excellent plastic surgeon, Dr. Steven Camp. Because time was of the essence, Dr. Camp was able to see us within a day or two. Dr. Camp was exactly what we needed. He provided us with a caring ear to listen to our wants/desires while sharing with us exactly how he could help us move forward with the reconstruction process. He partnered with my breast surgeon to ensure that the surgery timeframe would work. Post surgery, WOW! What a great doctor! We were so lucky to have Dr. Camp walk this road with us! He was there every step of the way to share with us what to expect and the next steps in the process. He did a great job! My husband and I are so pleased with the results!
