Before and 6 days PO

Do these look botched to you?

I feel like the nipple placement is off. :\ I am only on day 6 though.

If any of you are putting off getting breast augmentation due to the fear of surgery...just do it.

I have a high pain tolerance yet was really scared of following through with this surgery. It took me about 5 years after losing the weight to finally grow the balls to book a consult.

My boobs have yet to hurt. My throat hurt like hell from the breathing tube, but that seems to be a very rare side effect.

If it weren't for the breathing tube I probably would have never bothered with using a single pain med. And.....I got the largest implants possible for my size.

If you're looking at videos of surgeries being preformed, ex out of it. They all look like gruesome torture. You're not going to see nor feel any of it during the surgery.

I'd like to give those considering a BA advice on avoiding the "booby blues"...

Everyone warned me I'd experience it. But I'm 3 days post op and have not once had a remorseful thought about their size.

My best advice about sizing is go bigger. I bet you've read this a million times by now, but it's true. You lose anywhere from 25-100cc when implants are placed under the muscle.

Use rice sizers that are accurate! Ive seen plenty of rice sizer vs actual implant pics look waaaay off. You need to shape the rice sizer into an implant shape. And you need to adjust the cc to equal what will be taken into account when the implant is placed under the muscle. AKA if you're going for 400cc under the muscle... use a 325cc rice sizer. Keeping your expectations realistic is very important otherwise you're going to be very disappointed when reality doesn't live up to fantasy.

I'm still pissed no one warned me I couldn't change the cc sizing after my pre-op appointment. However I had to force myself to accept it and mold my expectations around the fact I was going to get 475/425cc. Now that I have them - I almost think they're the perfect size for me. Breast don't just drop...they also "fluff". This is due to the muscles relaxing and loosening their grip on the implants.

I actually tried on a 32DD bra today and it fit like a glove. I'm certain from everything I've read (re: recovery) I will even outgrow that brasize. I could grow anywhere from 1 to 3 more cup sizes while boobs "drop & fluff". 3 would be more on the extreme side...so I'm not expecting that. All I know is my initial goal size was met (32dd).

Hopefully this helps someone out there. I know it did for me.
