I was also scared and they should pay to have my butchered neck and scars removed. I received my money back because I discovered that they forged my name,my sons name and my daughters name to the charge slip from Care Credit. My self and my son received ours back and my daughter just discovered hers and is now seeking hers back. The Attorney General has not finished his investigation but is still working on it. I am hoping after that we can seek help in getting money to pay for our surgery to repair their mess.

They do not tell the truth about your results they make it sound like the results will be what you are asking for but it is far from that.Remember the old saying if it sounds to good to be true it usually is not. They do threaten every one with a law suit that tries to write the truth.Keep tuned in for Florida's Attorney General's report. Go to a real Plastic Surgeon.

Hey BJ -- Glad, so very Glad that you are getting your money back. I wish that each and every person would go back and carefully check their paperwork carefully; if you went through CareCredit to see if it is your signature. Do you remember signing the papers???? Even if you did sign the papers and had poor results with promises that were not fulfilled, write a letter, shoot write several -- starting with the Attorney General of the state, State Board of Medical Examiners and don't stop there. Write to your congress man or woman. Better Business Bureau. BJ, I am so proud of you for standing up and fighting back. Thanks, Chrystal Eckes.

I wrote to every one I could think of to complain,Attorney General,Federal Trade commission and health Department. I am one of the first ones to continue to fight LSL and even though I received my money back I am still following through with the complaints. Chanel 20 in Ft Myers was going to do a story we were interviewed and the investigator on the case tried all he could do to air the story, but again they threaten a law suit so they backed out till AG is through. I also tried to get Tell Mel of News Press to write and even though she said not afraid of suit the News Press would not let her do the story. What happen to freedom of speech? Don't we all have a right to speak in our favor? Are we all being denied our rights? Yes we are! That sounds like a law suit in its self. That is why I am not giving up telling my story. I will never forget the Dr's statement when I went in to complain "you will never get your money back"

Dear BJ,
I''m so glad to hear you got your money back as well. I hope and pray that all of us who were done so wrong can follow your advise and write our stories to our States Attorney Generals and copy everything to the FL State Attorney Generals Office Att: LSL Investigation. Report your doctor to the Amer. Medical Assoc. and the Consumer Complaints Board. And all other agencies you can think of. Laws have to be changed in order to prevent Drs from being able to move from State to State evading their records. Our protection agengies need to be made to step up to the plate and demand the businesses to be accredited and belong to the necessary organizaions that moniter such practices as surgical proceedures being performed in office settings. This company has none of these things and it is our obligation as victims to fight for the right for all of us to be compensated. So follow the proper channels and leave private messages to find out further information. This forum is for constructive, and beneficial inform, to educate and help. It's hard on all of us when seemingly false promotionals of excellant results raise red flags as we know that they were already made to pay $300,000 to the State Of New York for requiring employees to post false "positive experieces" as they have their eyes set on opening up in every state in the nation, it behooves us to be sceptical. So lets all remember that the mission is to keep working for the ending of attrocities that have been happening over the last 10 some odd years. Come to an end, and that the people responsible for these attrocities will be made to pay compensation and change their advertising and methods of pratice so as not to inflict any more damage. It is a great many tears I have cried and not in vain will we all have suffered if we can all stick together and follow the proper channels.

The physicians on the Lifestyle Lift website are real board-certified plastic surgeons. One of them took a growth off my lip and did a great job. You can't even see where it was. What people need to keep in mind is that there is no medical or surgical procedure that is without risk. I am sure there was informed consent and the risks were explained. People never pay any attention to that part and then are angry when one of the known possible complications of the procedure happen to them. From what I have read, the Lifestyle Lift is just a type of facelift with fancy marketing and whether you like it or not a facelift is a surgical procedure with all the risks of a surgical procedure.

All I can say is you are going to be in for a big surprise... removing a mole and cutting your face and stitching your ears to your face with permanent scars is a little different. Keep posted for all the surprises coming along.

Dear FM3177, LSL does not normally perform minor removal of growths from lips. This would go against their normal procedure of performing the exact same lift on every person that comes through the door (at a LSL office). Unless you are seeing one of the doctors that "moonlights" at LSL and he did this in his own office and not at a LSL office. I like the point that you made in the last sentence: "From what I have READ, the Lifestyle Lift is just a type of facelift with fancy marketing and whether you like it or not a facelift is a surgical procedure with all the risks of a surgical procedure." That part you have exactly right! Therefore meaning when you said "from what I have read", that means that you have not had a LSL... you have not been through what some of us have. Just like anything else in this world, you can get good, medium and just downright awful service in any area. Some of us did not receive what we were sold. The risks were not explained... they were explained away, compared to going to the dentist. Some of us are only trying to get the potential customer to look into the procedure more carefully and to be sure to compare this procedure to other doctors in private practice (no moonlighting), and have the credentials and time invested in his/her profession. And there is a big difference in being board certified in Otolaryngology and being a American Board Certified Facial & Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon. Lets face it, you get what you pay for. Best, Chrystal

Dear FM3177,
Really girl? I don't know what website you looked on, but if you post the link I'd like to see that, since a very recent purusal of all of the Drs. represented a very different truth. So I don't know where you got your information. So please do enlighten us. Which Dr. did your surgery? Did you have the LSL surgery or just read about it. Or just the mole-ectomy. Seriously, I would like to know the LSL Dr. that removed your mole and that's it. The rest of your comments are kind of inane and doesn't warent response unless you've had the procedure done.
Better luck promoting them next time. Oh, never mind, forget that part.

Wake up!

You are so wrong the risk were not explained.... Hello look at all the complaints.... and the fact the attorney General of Florida is investigating them...That is all that is needed.

I really don't understand the complaints. All I can say is that the persons concerned must have been very unlucky. All procedures and risks were fully explained to me to the extend it almost scared me off but decided to take the risk anyway.Sure, there was swelling post op but that is to be expected and unrealistic not to expect any, it only lasted about a week or so, no visble scars at all. The local anaesthetic was very painful but once it took effect I didn't feel a thing. I am very happy with my results , my pictures were not touched up and can definitely recommend LSL, it is not a scam at all in my eyes.

looking at your picture does not look like you just had this done.. hope you did not have your eyes done because it does not look like it. You should take the time to read all the real self complaints. I have scars and my ears are stitched to my head can not ware my hair up or a hat. very visitable scars. Still have the skin under my neck that i paid to have fixed. They made me worse that before at least before I had ear lobes and no scars. The complaints are so many it caught the attention of the Attorney General of Fl and they are investigating them.

I had the procedure done end of last November, 2010 and certainly have no complaints whatsoever, I am very pleased with the results.I did have my eyes done as a matter of fact and you certainly can see the difference. Maybe the only good surgeons are in West Palm Beach.

Hi Aussiegal, just had to put my 2 cents worth in here. All the "complaints" come from those of us who have had horrible results, terrible customer no service, scars & pain that would / will not go away, etc. Your procedure went well. There are just as many that did not. 50% is not a good rate of return (and it has been as low as 27%). Would you hire a plumber or a car technician that got it right 1/2 of the time? Would you spend your money if you thought that maybe it might come out OK? I invite you to read my bio and look at my photos and will ask you to honesty reply back to me if you would have been happy with the results. I am glad that you are happy with your results and that your procedure went well. Many of us did not have that luxury. 3 women have died as a result of this procedure. Did you know that? My recommendation to any one considering this procedure is listen to what they have to say and then seek out a private American Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and get a 2nd opinion. Realself lists doctors on here that offer free consults. I look forward to hearing back from you after reading my bio and hopefully you will take the time to read a few of the other women whose results were less than optimal. Best, Chrystal

Hello Chrystal, I did read everyone's bio including yours before I made my first reply and I do feel sorry for all you ladies who have had bad results and certainly was not my wish to offend anyone. I only wanted to let you know that they are not always bad like in my case. My surgeon was Dr Grimaldi, an extremely well qualified board certificated plastic surgeon , why not read his bio, he did work at St Mary's hospital at the time of my LSL but worked one day a week at the LSL clinic in WPB where I had my procedure done, he now works full time at the clinic. I do have my bio on Realself if you care to look at it.

If you were so happy why did all of a sudden you decided to look up the complaints on LSL and make comments... seems a little fishy to me ....all of us women did not just fall of the watermelon truck... so try something a little different.

Aussie, I did read your bio before I answered you the first time. Had I read bio's like mine or some of the other ladies before I went to LSL I would have never considered the procedure. The information available today was not there back in late 2007. Granted they have changed some of the wording and advertising since I had my lift, they no longer say "return to work the next day" and evidently other tactics have also had to change but in all fairness to people considering this procedure, DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Get 2nd opinions and compare apples to apples. I do not think that a doctor performing numerous lifts per day is fair to patient nor doctor. Again, I will say that I hope you continue to have good, long lasting results with your LSL. As far as agreeing on LSL being a good place to go and have plastic surgery, well, there we will just have to agree to disagree. Best, Chrystal

I uderstand my statement was misunderstood. I just stated that the information that McKen58 stated sounds like LSL and I agreeded with Dr Prendville about Kent sticking to he same story that he tells all the time. I am,Like Dr Prendville, a very big advocate Of LSL. I never thought or indicated that Dr Prendivile was involved with LSL...I stated that sounds like LSL ,to mean the story that McKen58 told sounded like LSL.
