Didn't work for me

Installed and removed after 6 months. No weight loss. No weight gain, just a an overall uncomfortable experience.

Coming up on 1 month

The first two weeks were uncomfortable but bearable. I was mildly nauseous around 5am every other morning. Didn't throw up but spit up alot. Eating was difficult because my stomach would cramp up and I really couldn't stomach anything. Again, not anything that I couldn't manage but uncomfortable all the same. The second week I shared with my cycle so I felt like a complete mess.
This third week has been a lot easier. I'm sleeping through the night and can sleep in any position. I started exercising by walking with my kids in the evenings and doing 10 minute pilates workouts I found on Xfinity on-demand. I'm not uncomfortable as long as I don't skip a meal which took a lot of practice. I hope to meet with the nutritionist next week to help me get on track with that. For the last few days (since I really still recovering and barely eating), meals consists of a fist size amount of protein and maybe some veggies. i sabotaged myself by eating protein bars that actually contained 56 grams of carbs /26 sugar carbs. I was only looking at the protein content. Those were my snacks. Now I have to figure out how to snack. Again, hopefully the nutritionist can get me on the right track.

So down to the nitty gritty....
Desire for sweets (my addiction is chocolate, hot tamales and twizzlers)-Minimal and controlled.
Desire for Breads/Rice/etc.-Minimal
Desire for bacon- High- but instead of 5 slices, I can eat 1 and satisfy the craving.

Weigh gain-Zero
Weight loss-Zero
Inches lost -Zero
Feeling of frustration- High
Feeling of discouragement- Med/High

I was feeling pretty discouraged and feeling like no matter how hard I try, my body just defies me. I've even taken this drastic measure and NOTHING....weight wise. My husband says he sees my appetite control and is proud of how I've started to get active again; that I should just keep it up and be patient.
I plan to do just that. Now that I'm feeling so much better physically, I will work out more and try to keep on track with my meals. BETTER LUCK AT 4 WEEKS!! I'll let you know. :-).
Will post pics soon.

So far....

....not too bad. I still feel soreness in my belly and back where the ballon is. The gas pains have subsided but I'm making sure to continue my meds for the next couple of days to prevent any further discomfort. I'm longing to eat something though. I think I'm going to try my hand at some soft/pureed foods tonight. We'll see how my stomach reacts so soon after placement.

Is love too strong a word? Okay, that might be a bit excessive. Very personable and encouraging. I had another consultation scheduled with another doctor but after meeting with Ramlogan, I cancelled it. I knew I wanted him to do the procedure. As to the procedure team of physicians, I give them a A+++ for their bedside manner. Equal with the office staff, more importantly Heidi, who provided me with a direct line to answer ANY questions I might have and I had a lot. Got a few gifts too. That was a nice touch.
