Every time I looked in a mirror all I saw was sad looking eyes in need of a lift. Beginning to wrinkle primarily around the chin and upper lip area. I was beginning to show "my age" and it was not attractive. Dr. Prendiville is an absolute miracle worker.
Friends tell me I look 10-15 years younger and when I look in the mirror I see more of the old me. The entire Staff in this office is simply FABULOUS!! I give all of them an A++++++ I could not be happier with my results or the fantastic care I have received from the Dr. and his Staff!!! Absolutely worth every penny!

Welcome to the community and thanks so much for offering your opinion of your doctor.

It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience, like why you had the surgery, your tips for getting good results, pros/cons, and info on the recovery process.

Our community members especially love seeing photos from before, during, and after — a realistic look at what they can expect. Photos grab the attention of the community and encourage more support for you.

As a community manager, I get requests all the time from other members who want me to to keep encouraging people to share their experiences, which are so helpful for others considering these procedures. So please accept this as a well-intentioned request from thousands.

I had the surgery mainly because I was looking very tired all the time. Any time I had a "special" occasion to look especially nice for the bags were always there. I had purchased everything on the market to "get rid of bags under the eyes", nothing worked. Tried cucumbers, ice packs, etc; that didn't work either. To get the absolute best results is to go to a very reputable Plastic Surgeon who is totally honest and will tell his/her patient exactly what can be done and the results they can expect based on each individuals case. Follow post-op instructions to the letter. If a patient does this there will be excellent results with a very quick recovery time. I personally did not take my "pain" medication as I never experienced enough pain or discomfort to warrant putting the medication in my system. I slept with my head propped up in a 45 degree angel as recommended for three weeks. I am a tummy sleeper, this was the most difficult thing I experienced. Go for all follow-up visits!!!

How much does it cost
August 13, 2015
My total price was 7650. but, it depends on everything that has to be done. I also had a CO2 Laser Peel. The price also included the anestheology and surgical facilities. In my opinion, with everything included it was not over priced. Each case is individual. The best thing to do is make an appointment for a consultation (which is free)
and discuss all your options with the Dr.

That price seems really high. You shouldn't have to pay extra for the surgical facility if you can help it. There are plenty of docs who don't charge extra for that. I live in San Francisco and I was quoted that same price just for a lower bleph and that was because they didn't actually perform the surgery in their office. So there were fees for that. After a lot of research, I was told a more realistic number for a lower bleph is more like $4K. Don't be fooled by the 'top doctor' nonsense on Real Self either. Apparently, it works an awful lot like Yelp reviews if you know what I mean. I'm glad you had a great experience but that number is very high.
