The procedure doesn't take very long and is not painful at all. I ended up getting 6 syringes. We used a little over 3 of them the first appointment. Half of it under my eyes in in tear troughs and the other half in my cheeks. You use some ice packs after to help with swelling. I did get a little puffy and swollen the next day or two. Nothing too bad at all and I think most of that had to do with me having too much salt in my diet. I had no bruising at all. I believe I had very little swelling and bruising due to how experienced Dr. Stevens is. He is a talented patient doctor with a very good eye, gentle hands and a wonderful bedside manner! About 8 weeks later I went back again and we used the other 2.5 syringes to touch up a little more under my eyes, finish up my cheeks and then he added a little bit to the corners of my mouth and the nasal folds. All in all those 6 syringes accomplished a lot.
I have not had any issues or problems. I have seen people write in about lumps and bulges, poor reactions and such. I have had none of that and it's been almost a year now.
My face is great how it is now. I've considered getting some more and in the next year or so I most likely will. At that point I will probably do my temple area a little bit and maybe a few little bits here and there on the rest of my face. It's so nice that it lasts so long. Definely worth the money!

outstanding ! I looked online and thru Realself trying to find a good doctor and ended up choosing Dr Stevens in Ft Myers Florida. What a great doctor, wonderful staff ! I couldn't ask for better. They are so sweet helpful and caring there. They make you feel like part of their family there. They answered all my questions and then some. Dr Stevens definely knows what he is doing. I can see why he is one of the top doctors bellafill chose to train others to do it. He is conservative and takes his time. You won't ever have to worry about looking over done. No one even has a clue I had work done ! Which is exactly what I wanted. It's not a one shot deal. He does it over 2-3 sessions so that you look natural and the changes are not too drastic. Any problems questions or concerns you have they are always there to answer and explain everything to you. It wasn't painful at all. I ended up taking 3 days off from work because I wasn't sure how much bruising or swelling I would have but really just the one day off would have been fine. I think that's mainly because he has so much experience and knows exactly what he is doing. Everyone in the office is fantastic and I can't picture ever going anywhere else. I have complete faith and confidence in him and his whole team!
