Tray 4 Got attachments
Got my attachments for the trays. 2 on top 4 on bottom and they are virtually invisible! i was very worried but hopefully they don't stain! the act of getting the attachments took about 10 minutes. they first put this put this epoxy on my teeth after drying them then let it dry for 20 seconds and then put the button attachments on. they then placed my trays and used a light beam to concrete the buttons. they then removed the tight fitting trays and cleaned the extra material off my teeth. It was like nails on a chalkboard! I have sensitive bottom teeth so the drying portion was uncomfortable for me but not super bad. The first 12-18 hours were painful! also i noticed some extra resin in the edge of a front tooth and its really bothering me... alot! i went to get my teeth cleaned the morning after my attachments and my dentist didnt want to remove the extra in fear of messing with the treatment. also i stupidly got fluoride... DO NOT DO THAT! It is now stuck in my trays and i have soaked in vinegar and even brushed with my toothbrush which I was told not to do. It is not coming out at all so now I have white residue inside my trays which is bothering me. I guess I'm a perfectionist and it kind of looks foggy and funny because my trays are not completely forming against my teeth like normal I hope the fluoride eventually goes away. I used Q-tips with vinegar to try to help after it's soaked for 30 minutes while I ate. Still in crevices but hopefully it will wear down cuz it's kind of embarrassing.
Tray 2
So today is the first day of tray 2! well my upper tray was very warped. I called my ortho and they advised me to go to tray 3. my bottoms were ok and were changed out yesterday. My front bottom teeth are very sensitive and i am dreading taking these trays out! It was very painful taking them out this morning! i thought all my bottom teeth were coming out with the trays no joke!
Day 2 Tray 1
Holy smokes i had to write and update. ouch yeah my mouth hurts! ok so aro7nd the 24 total hours mark i really started to be uncomfortable. When i took out my trays for dinner (soup) felt as i was ripping out my teeth with my tray! Don't slack on the ibuprofen i did thinking well seems like I am ok... Nope not ok. Ouch not like i am going to die or anything but yes uncomfortable yes hurts to put in and out wow ouch. i make noises when doing both. I have a low pain tolerance.
