Sooo this happened...

Just as I was warming up to my results because the swelling is gradually decreasing each day, I began to notice slight leaking from a very tiny area of my incision . It wasn't blood but more so the yellowish oily looking fluid that was previously present in my drains when I had them in and per dr Thomassen the area where my drains where is still unusually hard. So at my appt yesterday it was determined that I most likely have a small seroma that's causing this and here I am today literally sitting in the operation waiting room about to have another procedure to surgically evacuate the area. To say the least I'm very much over my decision to have a tummy tuck at this point. I do hope I'm able to look back soon with a change of heart and satisfaction but right now I'm over the additional time , discomfort and cost I've experienced as a result of my initial decision. #HOPING4betterDAYS

Starting to see light at the end of the tunnel

So as the days go by I have began looking and feeling much better also. I started the cepholexin antibiotic again on Monday and haven't really had any more complications out of the drain area infection I had to bee seen for. I'm seeing a little less swelling with each day that goes by so I'm looking forward to an Amazing end result.

A gift that keeps on giving...

So I went back to my dr today due to my speculations if an infection at my drain site because the while area had swollen up, was omitting foul smelling odor, had become extremely sensitive to touch and I was running a fever. Dr Thomassen removed my drains thank god and though I'm not a huge fan of the removal process I cannot deny that I felt instantly relieved of a lot of the pain and pressure I was feeling in the area. I was also given a new antibiotic prescription to assist with the recovery from this. I really couldn't have selected a better dr though , I have bothered this man on a Sunday after noon and all with questions and concerns and he has handled each encounter with great care and concern which has actually made this process so much easier to go through. And as for my results they are looking better with each day that passes so I will be posting more update pics soon.

Very pleasant and always willing to answer questions and concerns in a very knowledgable manner. I chose him due to his high reviews amongst past clientele. My only complaint so far was the wait time the day of my procedure ran over by about 1 or 2 hrs due to him running late with another patient, other than than a great dr.
