WORTH IT$5,400
I'm 50, 5'5"-140 lbs in good shape, strong, but my back had blubber skin rolls on top of muscles- nothing would help them go away. I also had a bit of a pouch under my belly button
I went to Dr Stratt for a consultation and he said he could help the look of the folds but they wouldn't completely go away but would look much better.
He staged the procedure doing flanks and upper back first then we just did the abs yesterday eight days later
Recovery from the first stage went very well I was able to get around no problem on the third day and drive the fourth just felt sore when touched in certain areas
Come Monday (a week later) it was great, swelling was down to just some areas same with bruising
Yesterday we did the abs which I thought would be much easier but then again we use our abs for everything
Pulling myself up off the bed to go to the bathroom has been delightful-lol but it was the first night! hopefully the pain will go away just as quickly at with stage 1
By the way it only hurts when I get up just sitting it doesn't hurt at all
The nurses were great, the place is very nice, and Dr Stratt and the rest of the staff are very nice
Will keep you posted on my recovery -fingers crossed

Just read your review. You are just 50, good for you getting a grip on things now!!! Don't know if you're male or female. But I am female and past 50, we women have it really hard after 50 & put the weight on in the waist. We're not making our usual hormones. But I had Tumesant Lipo myself Feb. 5 2015 on abs, flanks and outer thighs. I wish you luck & it is so worth it!!! I finally got my definition back in my waist. And hope for more progress once I get back into my routine at the gym. Keep us posted!!!!

I am a female - wanted to do this for years - happy I finally did- can't wait till I'm out of the garment able to show off my new figure!

You just posted photos correct?? Because when reading this before, there were no photos. But anyway I just had to add that. Ha!! I hope all goes well for you. Don't get too anxious over getting out of the garment though, the longer you wear the thing the better your results!!! It keeps the swelling down, and helps the skin conform to your body shape. I know it's going to be tough because of the warm weather you get in Florida. Spring is here in NY and summer comes real fast...& its get hot & very humid here too!! I'm not looking forward to wearing this. I actually just ordered a full length one high waist & to the ankles. I didn't want to so close to summer but upon steady walking or standing I have had some big problems with leg aches from calves to knees, hoping this garment can relieve this. I only had outer thighs done on legs, but i am getting edema to knees & calves. So I have to limit being on my feet. Never had leg aches like this before Lipo!!! After Lipo protect that skin from the sun!!! It's a slow recovery process, take care!!

Wow my belly is the flattest it's ever been
I've been using the abdominal foam board all the time and everything is going great. My belly wasn't terrible but now even so soon it's great
The second procedure was abs and top bra fat line right behind armpit area. That part has been hard to deal with
The compression garment was so tight to elbow I felt like a tick, lol , but 24 hours when I washed my garment the dr said I could cut the arms to short sleeves. This garment is called Yoga and is made in Brazil. Great compression but not too comfortable in the arm pit areas, also the breast have really high less compression areas but I have to wear a padded bra overtop it, under my clothes to "look" kind of normal.- I have slowly cut more and more from the armpit area trying to make it more comfortable and I leave to top hooks undone.
The first garment I had was Leonisa, a fabulous feel lots of compression and it creates a great shape, it goes under breasts so I don't look deformed. I've actually got my stage 2 garment coming today from their website. I first had the flanks and upper back done and this was perfect for that.
Also I have compression foam side oval shapes to put extra compression on sides to avoid any grooves the garment might cause wear it puckers( they have worked well smoothing out )
I love that I already have a waist and my blubber rolls are almost all gone - it seams that my skin has shrunk very well
The Dr said it would improve it but wasn't sure I would get as great skin shrinkage as I have so far
Recovery
By day four I was back to work full force but much more exhausted then I would be usually - I'm a hairstylist and standing for 7 hours straight wiped me out the first day
Trying to have my original photos put up and this week I will get my before surgery photos and add them with my 2 week post op pics

Just reading this now about how your skin is conforming..on your back. My PS was so against me doing the blubber balls to the back side of my armpit/bra area, I have had them since I was 54. They were the 1 st. thing I asked him about. He didn't advise it, he said it's just loose skin and I shouldn't Lipo them. I think they should of been done, because it's fat & loose skin. So I'm looking forward to your Post sugery photos!! Although I don't think I could do Lipo again, I'm too old!!

I have a love/hate relationship with my compression garment. The top band sits under my breasts and presses so hard on the tender skin there that I got a big fat Kotex pad and shoved it in for padding. I almost cried at the blissful relief I got from that torture! I've also considered lining my flanks with Kotex to keep the hooks and zippers from gouging me. I'm going to google the foam pads since that sounds much better.

thanks for the awesome awesome suggestion I agree these garments are torture but necessary for optimum results

There is a compression garment company called Yoga from Brazil and they have soft foam insertable pads in different shapes and they are great I will post photos of them

Donna53, the zippers bothered me terribly for a whole mo. I wished I had the foam before. But all along I have to have a Cami tucked in under those garments...besides the zippers, you have to deal with all the hooks jabbing you. Don't even bother at your stage to try one without the zippers, they hurt too much to pull over your legs.

Can't wait to see your results! Do you know how much they removed? From your before pic it appears it wouldn't be much. How are you doing with swelling?
March 31, 2015
Not much swelling now just some hard sore when touched areas.
It would seem that I've lost about 3.5 lbs will go to dr. On Friday (2.5 weeks after last appt) .I just tried on a 34 brawl which was too tight for me before I usually wear a 36C on the last holeand the 30 4C was perfect without bubbling over in the back thank God
April 6, 2015
That's great! I've thought about doing mid/upper back, so I'm particularly thankful for you sharing your experience. I'm worried I'll have loose skin....and I'm not sure which is worse!
