I wanted to refine my jaw line as I had lost some shape over time, my neck was not much of a concern. I am now almost 8 weeks post procedure and I see some improvement in the jawline but I still have a "fat" pocket under my chin which I did not have pre procedure. At my 6 week check my Dr. felt this was still fluid and swelling from the procedure and we will wait and see at 12 weeks to compare photos pre v post. At this point I have some concerns for both the limited improvement and, of course, the new, jiggly ,neck look.

I am just about at the same place post-Thermi. I am about 8 weeks as well. I have some swelling still at the sides of my chin and right in the middle feels more jiggly. It DOES take time for collagen to renew (3 months) so I am practicing being patient. I also weat a scarf around my head at home to drain the lymphatic glands and hope that will help too.

I'm sorry, I was not able to read your post. In your opinion, stupid procedure, why should I not do the "redo?"

I feel that this procedure is very invasive even though they advertise it as minimal. I lost nerves in my face and my mouth drooped for 6 weeks, at 3 months I still have some soreness and numbness, I still have a red mark by my ear where they put in the Instrument and I look more wrinkled now than before. The risks in this procedure are far more than a neck lift by a plastic surgeon. I would NEVER DO IT AGAIN!

I have not had as bad a time as that but at almost 9 months post procedure I feel that I look worse than prior, even though the Dr's office does not agree. At very least I have no results

I think we need to spread the word that Thermi Tight is a dangerous and useless procedure

I am not surprised to hear of these problems. ThermiTight is NOT FDA approved for this treatment. It's only FDA approval is for nerve ablation. Basically that means damaging the nerve. It's approval is to treat the nerves above the eyebrow for people that don't want to have botox.
Thermi has promoted this procedure through the doctors that buy the system. They are very clever and don't promote the system for how it's being used. Unfortunately they were just bought for 80 million dollars by a company from Spain.

Very interesting, thank you for your response. In fact I learned of this procedure at the ps office during a demonstration and informative meeting with the Thermi Rep who touted his favorable results with the procedure, and basically sold as a "no lose" procedure.

I really appreciate these comments as this is something I would definitely be interested in. However, having had Ultherapy without a hint of improvement, I would be surprised if there was something that could lift that tricky skin under the neck that is put there to cause us grief!!

Let me rephrase that:
My experience with thermitight was extremely disappointing. When I was being sold the treatment last year I wish I had been told that not only cuz there be no evident results but, as my pictures witness, the results can actually cause apparent deterioration of the area you wish to improve. It is my opinion that' thermitight was an ill vetted procedure
