YEAHHHHHHHHH ME!!!!!!!!

I was CLEARED for my Gastric Sleeve today. I will be having my surgery on 9/4/13. My sister will be flying in on Saturday to take care of me and my children :). I am happy yet nervous. I told my son today that I was approved for surgery on Wednesday, he is scared, I told him all we can do is pray and the Lord will guide out through this. And that I believe. :) :) :)

I feel so different for the first time about my PCP. She was a Cheerleader today. Surprise!!!!! Lol, I'm just happy she decided to get on board. :) I have been smiling all day........ Hmmmm!!!

I hope your surgery went well and you're having a smooth recovery! Whenever you're able to, we'd love an update to your review, to let us know how everything is going!

Everything is going good so far. I am able to keep everything I eat done. Light headed in the mornings but once I eat I am find. For now I wad told to only take my Calcium and Multi Vitamins. The Iron and B12 starts in 4-6 weeks. I had six incisions for my Gastric Sleeve, they are healing pretty good. I haven done the scale as yet. Waiting for my 2 weeks post op. I hope everything is going smoothly for you all. Kisses!!!! And all the best

Things are good. I am off all of my pain meds now. I do feel sore and my stitches hurt, but not to the point I feel the need to take pain meds. I am starting to get my full fluids in and am so ready for the mushy phase!!

Update on Blood Work

I'm a bit concern, my blood work came back positive for H Pylori Bacteria (Bacteria of the stomach, cause from food or water). My PCP want to start antibiotics for 2 weeks n delay my Gastric Sleeves, but my Surgeon said it quite common and I can proceed with treatment after surgery....

Almost there!!!!

I had my Upper GI done yesterday 8/26, did not like it one bit. That thick white paste drink (Batrium) have me bloated, I got up with stomach cramps n feeling nauseous this morning. My PCP office call yesterday to re-schedule my Clearance appointment to Friday...

Thanks for the update. I just finished week 1 on the optifast diet. I feel like I have adjusted to it. It did take 3 to 4 days to adjust. Now, I feel okay throughout the day so long as I eat every 2 to 2.5 hours. Congrats on getting through the upper GI. Keep us posted on your progress!
