I am an African American female that suffered from traction Alopecia. I decided to do a hair transplant on Sept 28th 2016! I had the FUT strip procedure done. The experience wasn't bad at all, the procedure isn't painful. I think if anyone is considering a hair transplant you should go for it. Min pain

Here are my pictures 1 Day after the procedure. You are instructed to keep your hands off of the grafts so they can settle in your scalp. We sere aiming to cover the entire area but we're only spoke to Transplant about 5,000 hairs

Hi! This doctor says he doesn't count grafts only hairs so he lets you know how many hairs you get so I got 5,000 hairs..

Great results so far! I'm scheduled to have the same procedure with Dr. Huebner next month. Any advice for recovery? Will you be posting updated pics soon? Thanks!

Hi! I'll post some updated pics at my 4 month mark which will be at the end of January.. I've only had minimum growth so far.. but that's expected.. as far as recovery just make sure you follow his instructions.. the first couple of nights are important to sleep upright so you won't knock the grafts out of place.. I lost a couple because I was moving too much
