The. Worst. Decision. - Fort Collins, CO

I had a Sandstone Fractional CO2 treatment on November 19, 2015. I wish I could go back in time. I almost chickened out but had pre-paid. I was severely over treated, especially on my right side, and neon pink squares peeled just 2 days post treatment. There were tiny blisters in some of the squares. The rest peeled in 7-10 days. I was reassured by the woman who treated me and my own derm that things would be ok. The right side of my face was swollen for 1.5 months.

Now I am left with dents where the pink squares peeled early. I also have horrible texture next to my mouth on both sides. It's like the tiny fractional dots are raised and forming plaques of dots. This might not be so bad if it was even, but it's forming little raised islands on my face. I see more each day. Some dots are higher and bigger than others. Around my eyes and on my eyelids is "chicken skin," raised white dots that are not millia. My forehead is the best, with just minor indented grids.

I wanted to remove some lax skin and age spots. Now I look like hell. Embrace aging naturally! I'm not sure if this is fixable. It has been very distressing.

I didn't have my neck treated, just my face and submental area. I have a bib of chicken skin that starts under the treated area and ends abruptly near the bottom of my neck. Heat damage?
