Three Years Later (REAL Review)

$10,500
Waited three years to write an honest review about my results. Doesn't make sense to write one a week after like I've seen many on here do because there WILL be changes. Doctor Attenello is a very warm person who made me feel so safe, but unfortunately I wish I had gone to another doctor. Although my forehead size IS smaller, it's very unnatural looking and has visible scars. The reason I got this surgery was so that I wouldn't have to think about how to style my hair, but that is STILL a daily issue now that I have a "too-perfect" "too dense" "doll-like" hair-line going across my forehead. no baby hairs, no feathered look. Looks like I got a shape-up. It took me a while to come to terms that I will have to now pay more money to have this fixed. I'm now in the process of saving up and finding a skilled doctor. As I said, Dr. Attenello is welcoming and kind, but if I were you, I'd look at someone else for a forehead lowering procedure.

Response from Dr. Attenello:
Dear LolaCatx, I'm truly sorry to hear you are unhappy with the results. Our goals are always to help patients feel more confident with the best possible care. Your concerns are absolutely valid, and we'd love the opportunity to improve these areas. Due to the anonymity, I am unable to look up the details of your case, but we would love to see you for a follow up appointment. With the hairline lowering/forehead reduction surgery, I counsel patients that it can impact some of the baby hairs in the frontal hairline in order to achieve the lowering. As such, sometimes thoughtfully placed finer hair grafts after the procedure can help further finesse the hairline and provide some feathering' in the front. We can also place some hair grafts into the scar to camouflage it more. I'm happy to explore these options with you in further detail and show you some examples. I'm so sorry you feel this way, but please reach out to us directly, I'm confident we can make an improvement. All my best, Dr. Attenello
