Forehead reduction surgery - unnatural

I am 1 year post forehead reduction surgery and still feel very self conscious about my hairline. It’s so straight and round and it makes me feel very insecure. I am thinking to do a hair transplant to round out the edges and give more of a variety to the hairline as currently it’s just one straight line and looks so horrible. However my surgeon who did the reduction surgery doesn’t believe the transplant will help in this case as the hair can grow over the scar.

He has mentioned to do medical tattooing to tattoo the scar the same colour as skin to hide the scar itself but I’m not sure if I’m willing to do that as it may look unnatural so now I am unsure which route to take (medical tattooing or hair transplant). I am so upset and feel so insecure. Can anyone advise me?
