The scar looks great! What oil are you using?
Thank you! Using Maderna Advance night cream at night and during the day I use pure rose hip. It’s fading really fast!
ORIGINAL POST
So Relieved and Happy
I’ll start by saying I’d researched this procedure for many years also had several consultations with probably 5 surgeons before going through with it. I’d been nervous but always so self conscious about my forehead so when i found a local doctor my excitement was through the roof. I had my consult and less than a month later there was an opening for my procedure. ..
Day 1 - still drugged from the procedure until the evening when I felt like I was dying . I took strong pain meds which helped . I just slept and kept my head elevated.
First week - swollen face , developed a little bit of a black eye it was more like yellow .. used ice on day 5 which helped a ton and the swelling wasn’t noticeable by day 8
Second week - black scabs all along the entire incision .. it looked so ugly.. I used silagen cream twice per day even on the scabs . Kept covered and showered with Luke warm water only . Very gentle with the scabs!
Third week - scabs falling off while washing my face in the shower .. I freaked out but they were ready to come off .. lots of hairs growing Through the scar already . I use silicon cream during the day and intense collagen at night with a bandage wrap to keep the cream on.
Happy with the results truly relieved and can’t wait to keep seeing the scar fade.
Oh.. I was told by a doctor friend to massage the scar and my forehead and scalp to promote circulation until the tighteness subsides a bit more… this may or may not be doing anything :)
