Update
Soo went to the appointment today & was told to use rogaine for another entire year. Safe to say I will not be returning to doctor Bernstein as I would like to have this procedure done during this lifetime and not the next. Will be looking for a new doctor

Update
So my appointment that was scheduled for July 7th has been rescheduled by the office to a later date of August 5th. This is a little annoying considering that I was just one week out from my consultation & now I have to wait a whole other month. Guess that means the next time I will be updating will be August 5th.

Forehead Reduction Journey
Hello all! For as long as I can remember I have had a relatively thin hairline and a large forehead. I remember getting made fun of for this very reason which added to my already low self confidence regarding my forehead. I have been researching this procedure for about 3 years now and it is finally becoming a reality rather than a distant dream! I was referred to Dr. Bernstein about a year ago by someone very close to me that has had a great experience with him and his team. I actually had a consultation with him last August to which he told me to use rogaine foam for a year to regain some hairs on the hairline before performing the transplant. Now a year later I have made my consultation for July 7th 2020. Feel free to comment with any questions.

Hi! Happy for you. I've been looking into it recently and I'm really interested. Please update when you can!
Hi! Yes I will be updating on July 7th
Hi I am thinking about getting it done however the fear of the scar and also my hair not growing around my scar is a worry did you have any issues ?
Hi! I am reducing the length of my forehead by getting hair grafts transplanted from donor hairs from the back of my head and transferring then onto the forehead. So there won't be a lengthy scar on the forehead. I was initially looking into getting the hairline lowering procedure done, but I was a little spooked about the scar/future hair not covering the scar as well. I thought the hair transplant procedure would give me a little more peace of mind even though I will have to wait a little longer for the results.
Hi, excited to see the results, I've been looking into this for some time now! Also, with the Rogaine, did you see great results within the year? I have debated using this due to the application frequency and wanted to know of others that have had a good experience with it.
Hello! To be honest I only used the rogaine for a short while because I was seeing a lot of reviews that said the newly grown hair would fall out after they stopped using. I did however begin to use different oils such as peppermint, macadamia, chebe, etc. along with massages to aid in gaining growth on my hairline. Since majority of my thinning was due to traction ( ponytails, wigs) and not genetics, I was able to see a noticeable difference in the hair growth around my hairline.
Hi, any update on your results? Do you have a before and after?
