Hairline Lowering Via FUT

4 months post op

$22,000
I am 4 months post op now and what I can say is this is a very long and slow process and at times very discouraging. I sometimes question if this was the right decision. The hairline is very sparse and thin looking. I am hoping this will improve over time.

Hey girl. Thanks for sharing. I want my hairline lowered too. Just not sure which route to take yet. I hope that within the next 6 months your hair thickens up.
Hair hasn’t thickened up its 1 year post operation. it’s pretty obvious at this point that my hairline is not natural I am going in January to a different doctor to add density. I think regardless of which procedure you do you may need to do a second one. If you choose surgical route you may have scar and need some grafts in the scar to conceal it which might be a better route. Not an easy procedure in the sense that it’s very long process before you see the end results
Hi how are you? I was wondering how you're doing now and how's the hair transplant at this point? The growth, density, etc... are you satisfied? Thanks a lot in advance!
Hiii any update?

Hairline Lowering Via FUT

I was born with a large forehead and since the age of 16 always wanted to do something about it. I finally took the plunge and decided to get a hair transplant rather than going the surgical route. I spoke with the beauty consultant Melinda who helped guide my decision and select my doctor. I will be sharing his name at a later date when I see the full results and can truly rate my experience. I will be posting my progress here periodically. The day of the procedure was long but nothing I didn’t expect I ended up getting a little under 3000 grafts. The doctor Designed the hairline, cut into my scalp and made the holes in my head. The technicians did the rest. One of the things that did rub me the wrong way towards the end of procedure the technicians were rushing to leave and as the girl was she was implanting hairs into my scalp she was saying how she needs to hurry up and catch her train. Talk about unprofessional! Also when it was all done with and I was waiting for my Uber In the office lobby the technician again because she was in such a rush told me to go wait in the building lobby for my Uber. I just ignored her and continued to sit in their office lobby until I knew the Uber was there. Just not the way I expect to be treated after spending 22k. Anyway I’m hoping that all goes well and that isn’t a telling sign of what my outcome will be.

How awful she would say that! I'm sorry to hear that, I bet your results will be awesome. May I ask what mad you choose this instead of hairline lowering surgery? I'm not decided yet which I will go with.
After speaking to a few doctors as well as the beauty consultant they thought the hair transplant is a better procedure because it doesn’t leave you with a scar across your head. They said they always have people come in who need hair grafts after having it surgically lowered because of the scar is so visible. Also I needed hair on my sides to round out my hairline and the surgical procedure wouldn’t have done that for me. I am concerned about the density though so we shall see how this turns out. It is a long process!
This is what I'm trying to figure out now for myself. Deciding if I want a lowering or just an actual rounding out with hair grafts. Sorry about your experience. Truly hope your outcome is awesome though! Thank you for sharing.
