Thank you, I'm so happy it's barely noticeable!

Did you use men or women’s Rogaine?
User Avatar

I believe women's? I just ordered some foam off Amazon, I don't think it's labeled specifically for women

Hi, I’m going to Dr Gal next month and I’m so nervous! Would you say the hair line lowering was worth it and did your hair grow back?

Yes, I would say it was worth it and my hair is coming back slowly :)

Is the Rogaine working? I went to Dr A and am experiencing the same thing. Would love to know what's working for you to combat the hair loss and thinning. Im 3.5 months post

I think the Rogaine is working. It has not been 3 months yet of using it so it's hard to say, but the thin patch is less noticeable to me lately. I don't think it would hurt to use the Rogaine if you are worried about hair loss! Congratulations on your procedure!

how are you now?

I recently had a consult with Dr. Gal and was disappointed of a $13,900 quote when he said it was a very minimal lowering and straight forward procedure. Assuming they based their quote off my zip code which is a joke because it's a rent controlled apt but in a good area. Hate that this factor alone turned me off from the doc. No explanation for the huge bump in price compared to other clients. Been following your journey and happy to see it's going well and recovering from the hair loss!

Beautiful results. Has the hair loss stopped?

Is the hair loss only on the one side?

Yes only on one side!

I just had mine done 4 weeks ago and I now have a huge bald spot right in the center of my head. Did he by chance say what you can do for this?

I never scheduled a follow-up to talk to him about this. I'm taking biotin every night and using Rogaine on my thinning area for now.

Can you please keep us updated on the hair loss. That’s the only thing holding me back from getting this procedure.

Bump has resolved

The “bump” I mentioned earlier has resolved but left a small red scar. It’s not very noticeable and I’m not bothered by it. Dr Gal believed it to be an irritated internal stitch. See attached photos.
