Great Doctor, Team Needs More Training
WORTH IT
It’s been almost two weeks since my forehead reduction surgery. The recovery is going well so far.
The surgery went well, I had a bad reaction to the anesthesia, vomited and was nauseous for a couple day but besides that it went fine.
I strongly recommend Dr. Cengizhan! I saw him four times during my stay in Turkey. Once before the surgery, one time the day of the surgery, the day after the surgery and two days after that. I could tell he really cared and wanted me to get the best result. I valued his opinions and he was super helpful. If it was just for him and the surgery, I would give it a 5/5!
His team needs a little bit more training. My coordinator was sweet and helpful mostly in the beginning. I had asked her about the risks and she sent me a message that she deleted then sent me another one that was very vague. Things were sometimes disorganized, I had to wait over an hour one day to get transported from the hospital back to the hotel..
After the surgery I was given cream, gel and oil but wasn’t properly instructed how to use them. I honestly still don’t fully know how to and it doesn’t seem like do either. My coordinator also has not followed up with me since I’ve left which I did not expect
Overall it was a good experience and I would do it again, it would’ve been great if it wasn’t for the little hiccups mentioned. I would give five star to Dr. Cengizhan and my translators Samba and Miriam who were soooo sweet and helpful!
