So Far So Good - Had my surgery this morning

Had my surgery this morning. Staff was really attentive. Right when you get in they start an IV and give you some Tylenol with the tiniest sip of water. The doctor comes down to mark the areas of the incision and then it's straight to the OR. OR is cold! They started the anesthesia and I was out within minutes. Waking up, felt slightly disoriented and super drugged up! Lol

My surgery was a bit different because the doctor not only lowered my hairline but also shaved off a significant amount of bone. Notice the projection of the bone in my forehead. Made it look super large and was my biggest insecurity. Now look at how flat the bumps look! 11 years I spent covering my forehead with stiff-hairsprayed bangs. Rainy days were my enemy and I couldn't engage in any water activities. I was super cautious about people touching my hair and I actually always got a lot of comments on my bangs. I'm excited to see the final results once the swelling goes down. So far, no regrets. The doctor and the patient coordinator Faye have been a pleasure to work with and made me feel comfortable every step of the way!

Hair is slowly starting to grow in now and the scar isn't visible, the redness is also gone. Still can't feel My scalp 100% and I feel tightness in my incision line but It was definitely worth it and a good investment!
