I Couldn’t Believe It Could Be Done, then It Was!

Here’s my 1 week progress . Okay! So, I’ve gotten all stitches and staples removed. (Both on separate days ) . I took my pain medication the hour before removal so I hardly felt any crazy pain. Fast forward, this is the picture after all the removal (don’t mind my bun). Overall, I feel fine. I know the appearance looks crazy but it should better over the next couple of weeks.

Hello all! I’m going to be super detailed on this journey here because I genuinely want to give future prospects an idea of the pleasant surprise they’re in for. I will be posting photos of my before and after. Feel free to ask me questions! Okay, so, I’ve always been super insecure about my forehead. I’ve always had bangs for as long as I could remember. But, in my situation, the way my forehead protruded, I didn’t think anything could be done. Once the pandemic hit, I almost never did my hair and LOVED not having to have bangs. I wanted a permanent change! I started researching doctors. I initially did interviews with doctors who do forehead reduction. But I needed more. I needed my forehead to be evened out. I’ve had doctors turn me down for surgery. I continued with my researched and found the term “forehead contouring “. I kept researching and found two doctors. One in NJ & one in FL. I interviewed the NJ doctor.. it lasted 12 minutes. I didn’t feel anywhere near comfortable! 12 minutes with such a drastic procedure ?! Anyhow, I booked my consultation with my doc & it lasted about 40 minutes or so. Dr. M is VERY structured and detailed with what to expect. I knew immediately, once I hung up, he was THE doctor. Days later, I booked my procedure date & flight. Galina & Melissa are amazing! Even with school, they were able to adjust my pre op/post op times. The day of my surgery, I was nervous but very at ease. Fast forward, I am 3 days post op! When I tell you I LOVE my results !!
