Wow so I’m really going through with this. I’m writing this on my way to get this forehead I mean my 11.5 head smaller( according to doctor). I really never thought this was possible until I saw that girl on tik tok talk about her experience and I was sold. The questions I had was what doctor and how much it was going to cost me. I’m so grateful for this app it has helped me so much with figuring out what doctor I wanted. I also want to say its ur choice to tell people but I wish I only told my family I’m close to / live with. I told my BFF but because there not living in my head they won’t get it and they also accidentally open there month about it cause they don’t understand how big of a deal it for me. Everyone will say don’t your beautiful they way you are which is tru but I wanna feel at my best. SO GO FOR IT ! Do what makes you happy cause at the end of the day you are the one waking up to look at yourself.
It took me about a year to decide. AllOf 2020. I did 3 consults. One free 2 cost me 100 each. I choose the 3rd doctor but how did I choose. At first I wanted to go to the best but most affordable, a doctor in turkey. This was when I wanted to get it done ASAP because I have been living my life a slave to a wig and now I have found a solution I was just tired of it. The good thing about having a big forehead is : I learned how to lay the [RS bleep] out my wig...”what lace” I am glad I didn’t go to him. As I see more of he’s before and after a lot of the patients have very boxed hairlines. They where also to low for my liking… who would think a girl with a big forehead would say something is to small. The tickets to turkey and the stay was adding up to the second doctor , dr. Richardson. I trusted him during our consultation and I was able to put down a deposit the day after my consultation. That’s how confident I was goin to him. I also watched many YouTube videos Of people who spoke very highly of him and the scar wasn’t visible and there forehead were smaller but I only saw one black girls he’s done but they used an expander. I thought he was great but something told me to call him 3 weeks before my surgery and ask him does he really think he can get me what I want. He Told me he be able to get me down inch including my thin baby but due to my baby hairs that weren’t thick enough the scar possibly could show more. He was honest and said he really doesn’t think he can Do what I want. I think he’s perfect for a person who needs less then a 2.5 cm or close to an inch and who doesn’t have receding hairline or traction Alopecia . All things I’m struggling with it. Which brought me to Dr.Gal. Apart from me seeing tones of dark skin women, some Celebrities in preop of women he’s done and his honesty... He was my last hope. I'm In LA with a doctor that I trust with my hairline. He has done some magical stuff and his insta speaks for itself. Though he is WAY more expensive not including my travel to the west coast and my stay... it's going to be worth every dollar....The important thing is money really comes and go and getting my confidence back is an investment. Looking good makes me money lol he made me feel so comfy. he was honest told me there will be a scar but we these are things to help reduce it. He told me that he knows he can get me down a inch but if he does more then even better. I think he definitely underestimates just so if he could do more it's not a let down. That being said I'm super excited no nerves at all. only thing I keep preparing my self is for the pain. With the price I paid I know he will try and bring it down as much as possible without me looking crAy. I will keep you guys updated let me know if there anything y'all wanann know. I'm going to be an open book on here. Also a big thank you to Jordan1122334455 sis ur an angel. I asked her so many questions before this big day and she really came though with answers and made me feel so much at ease about this whole thing.

Pain is temporary but a new forehead is forever #postop
theperfectfaceojJanuary 19, 2022
I won’t lie you can’t prepare yourself for this pain. I couldn’t sleep at all. The most I slept was 1 hour and 47 mins I would wake up and try and change my position from about 5 pm - 8 am. It was rough but I made it through. I would not recommend having a nurse, I think it’s best to go with some one who care for u enough to do everything you ask. I think I asked my sister every 2 hours to change the position or to order me food get me ice just anything
I went to remove the rapping around 10:30 am and I definitely feel way better now. I stop taking the meds after day 1. I am taking extra strength Tylenol. maybe I do well with pain I d k I was just very sick when I took the Prescription the doctor gave me. Sick meaning when I Took the his pain killers i would throw up. I did only throw up once. I can’t feel the top oh my head which makes me less scared to wash it but I'm still going to ask my sister for so much help.
The back of my neck does not hurting as must as yesterday but it is still very tender. Feeling like it’s being pulled but it is very manageable.
My sister took 3 hours maybe a little longer to wash my hair. She went section by section and after washing each little section she put it into twist. 4c hair and this procedure does make it difficult. My hair was knotted. My hair looked like a hot mess after and was very I mean extremely knotted. TAKE YOUR TIME ! I lost a lot of hair but I would say during my regular wash day I would lose half the size. I really don’t think I will have shock lost. Keeping my fingers crossed but I do have hair that grows in thickness first vs length. ( very important to know how your hair grows )
Lastly I would say. Ice ice ice. I did notice my face Swollen on the side but I didn’t notice any eye swelling.
The purple line in the picture Indicate where the doctor tried to reach but wasn’t able to get there. I still think that like was 3.5 cm. My Forehead was very tight so I know he did try has hardest to get it to that line and I believe once my hair growing in from the scar it will be amazing. He also was able to round my hairline a bit something he said he wasn’t able do and something that Dr. Richardson said he definitely can’t do. I think it was more possible because he goes Further back in the head and the way he cuts this car line is a bit closer towards the ear. He took off all of my “fake “ baby’s hair that Rogain gave me and started from my thick point. On my side brought my receding hairline closer and left my side edges

Hi girl! Just curious about your experience to date. Our hair texture is similar, and as I consider the same procedure I wanted to know how your recovery has been?
April 19, 2022
Hi sorry I'm just seeing this. Recovery has been way easier then I thought.
I would say the only thing I have been struggling with is my scar is light but that due to me scaring lightly. I'm currently using something to Darlene. It an I think it's working. I'll know maybe in 2 months. When I go out I braid my hair down and just wear a wig. If you have any specific questions I will be happy to answer

Hi. Just a suggestion .. you can, later on, get micropigmentation on the scar if you think it's too much lighter than your skintone.
November 13, 2022
Yes I thought about that but the thought of having a little dots on my head that is not real hair later on will not make me happy in life
April 20, 2022
Hello, how quickly after your surgery did you feel comfortable braiding your hair or doing corn rows?
November 13, 2022
So sorry I didn't see this but two days after my surgery I put it into twist and maybe after I took out the stitches a week later I feel comfortable braiding my hair my hair head is very numb so I didn't really feel like much

Hey girl, I've just had this procedure 3 weeks ago. I'm curious, how does your scar look a couple months on. I ask because we're roughly the same skin tone
November 13, 2022
Hey I just tried connecting with you.
I got my surgery in January and now we are in November and my scar is still light. I learned that I scar lightly so I definitely will not be cutting myself up anywhere else in my body that cannot be covered. I think that when my stitches came out my scissors were too tight which maybe made the scar thicker and is not allowing her to go through only in certain areas. So right now I think I'm going to get a hair transplant which the doctor I have found is almost similar pricing to the forehead reduction which is makes me think I should've got a transplant to begin with. Now that I'm also doing a transplant I'm thinking I might as well fill in Hairs Not just on the scar but where the forehead reduction didn't touch that my edges are missing. I'm sorry that we're both going through this

hello, could you please tell me from the time you had consultation to your procedure date, how many months did you have to wait? Thank you

Before getting the surgery I would advise anyone and everyone to genuinely look through your whole body and see how your score is heal it will tell you a lot about what might happen. For me I have noticed most of my stores heal lately which is also proven put my current surgery that I’m hearing from. Photos to come.

How is it going? How is the scar? Did your hair grow through the scar? I had this done with another doctor and looking to get a revision with Dr Aharonov.
I saw someone comment about getting micropigmentation... Don't do it. I got it done and it doesn't look good. I think the best option is probably to get a few transplants to cover the scar.
I look forward to seeing your photos...
Thanks for sharing your experience

I had it done with your doctor. Terrible work he does. Are you going to go though with the revision?
